@ManlyShadows I honestly think Janet hesitated because she was bullied in a subtle fashion by her siblings about her weight as she mentioned in her book, she was often called Cow, Dunk, Hog ect...by her brothers. Many can relate to being bullied within their own families, sometimes your siblings words can have just as long and sustaining effect as being bullied by peers.

i think because she thought about her first marrage to Debarge and how he beat her, and did bully her emotionally, but i can understand her not wanting to go into that cuz it might overshadow the subject at hand which was the Trevor project to help others...

@ManlyShadows Janet pauses alot during interviews more so in the past I think - she talks slowly usually so maybe she was just thinking if it ever happened to her so she paused - who knows?
