  • Why does it shows always the same numbers in the videos about it?

  • Thats Cool!

  • That was my first CPU Cooler back to 2007 or so, dont know more but it still works great ^^ Its still on work on my sisters PC :)

  • i have wanted one of these since 2007, i remember back then all the unique different CPU coolers that were coming out from zalman and thermaltake and a few other companies, seems like we have gone back to a more standard look and design just have them larger now :)

  • LIKE

  • this vs a Beyblade xDD!

  • could you use this as a case fan ?

  • @0lethalghost0 it wouldn't really work as an intake fan for your case, if you look at how the air flows out of it. it would work as an exhaust fan, but then you wouldn't be able to see the text.

at best, it would make a nice decoration for your computer without any practical use, unless you used it as a CPU fan.

  • @MeaninglessTV yea but look on upload date..;/

  • was that in 2007?

  • awesome

  • as cool as it is, its truly a terrible CPU cooler xD I mean, it doesn't even have heatpipes! I would rather have that than an intell stock cooler though :D

  • xDDD, nice

  • were can i get one of these? and preferably with a light blue display?

  • @sparky1570784 Well this fan is like four years old. Odds are that shops no longer have them. You could try thermaltakeusa website. Note the fan is for Intel Core 2 Extreme Intel Core 2 Quad Intel Core 2 Duo (socket LGA775) Intel Pentium D Intel Pentium 4 (socket LGA775) Intel Pentium (socket LGA775) Intel Celeron D (socket LGA775) Intel Celeron (socket LGA775) AMD Athlon 64 FX (socket AM2) AMD Athlon 64 X2 (socket AM2) AMD Athlon 64 (socket AM2) AMD Sempron (socket AM2)
  • @toomanyaccounts hmm well thanks anyways ill see what elce i can find :D

  • süper

  • poinless init? Why use needed exstra energy on a few fancy lights. All a fan is needed for is cooling nothing more.

  • @snakev10v5

thats like saying we should all wear grey practical clothing and have our haircut in the most practical of styles because thats simply whats best.

  • @phdotsco true....but I still don't see why you would pay extra for led fans....when all it dose is cool but hay who am I to tell you what to do? I is just a noob with spelling problems haha lol

  • @snakev10v5 maybe you don't but my computer has a window on the side and having fans with LEDs not only looks cool but helps me see my components too.

  • lol, hast du die schrift selber eingebaut oder ist die schon original so?

  • So, upgrade to complete flash memory, insert some extra ramz and quadruple your quad-core, OR get a fancy, equally pricey fan? Hmmmmmmmmmm........

  • That's quite clever, but at the same time quite disgusting....

  • cuando sea grande quiero ser como vos amigo!!!

  • ummmm... whats the point again?

  • how to waste your money for a useless thing

  • Thats looks gay . I will take my v8 cooler over that anyday.

  • @gentlelovingmanUSA its only for aesthetics mostly

  • Ok it looks nice and all,

    but how is its performance??

  • @19KamiKaze42 Its performance isnt that great.

  • SUPERLOL . . . ThermalTake rulez XD

  • O________________________O

  • it couldnt be more pointless

  • @blahblahko so are many things on a computer :D

  • i can see little thunders??? wtf

  • omg so cool where I can buy it xD

  • i want it!

  • meatspin!!!

  • Nice!NICE!

  • nice thing

  • why did therlmaltake stop producing this coolers??

  • SUPERCOOL!!

  • i have it to but my is not so loud

  • @DVHardware will this support socket AM3 too as i know it does on AM2 socket ?

    cheers

  • @stormshadow2100 yes it does i got it on my phenom ii x4..

  • @DVHardware Never mind i already purchased it and found out myself

  • can i not get it has a normal 120mm fan with that text rooling around?

  • Have a google from cooljag programmable led fans. They come in a a few sizesand allow you to put on you own messages.

  • This cooler is a... Just nice but cooling is bad.

  • @dragonplatform jup i get 47 idle.. i am using liquid metal pad

  • Imagine What would happen to the person who's hand touched the blades...

  • It would stop spinning ....

  • the blades would stop?

  • @mariokirbyssbm they would stop, and it might sting for few seconds, now why did you want me to imagine that?

  • I have that axact Blue Orb II, but mine doesnt have the sweet ligth fx how did you do that did you make it yourslef

  • money????

  • 35€

  • thats sweet technology:) nice

  • its good cooler?¿ ( in core 2 duo e7500 ?¿)

  • U cant write whatever you want....its no software to it.

  • HOW TO DO THAT?!

  • nice...

  • do you know if it is possible to write want you want on the fan?

  • no u cant write anything

  • soo cool how much u got it for

  • Pure Awesome

  • is it the same as the regular blue orb 2? Same size, just with the lights

  • good idea!

  • very nice

  • I'd set a clock to it...

  • DuDe that is bad ass Love this i want this fan know

  • thermaltake make good and stylist product ,

    but the cost is high...

  • I wouldn't pay more to have a really crap LED display on a fan personally. I would prefer spend a little more and have a real display in one of my bays.. otherwise I'd be on my hands and knees looking into my case to read it?

  • its good this cooler? or its only good looking?

  • joderr yo kiero 1 !! =)

  • son super caros!

  • Comment removed

  • its for a intel or a amd

  • its on your socket :P not ive you got intel or amd that doesn't mather

  • both

  • My fan settings were set on high.. Their loud, but I like that :] When I press "sleep" on the keyboard, my fans go offline. It's pretty useful instead of letting your computer idle.

  • THE FUCK HOW YOU DO THAT?

  • shit like this takes all the fun out of modding your case, everthing in a "modded case" now-a-days is just shitty led fans you can get from newegg. lets see some of yall actually cut a window in your tower and figure out how to run car neons off your power supply like the real modders

  • ur right, tbh i like classic look cases, something that looks simple and beautiful

  • me too

  • haha dats what i did with my first case what amess ow well those were the days :(

  • WTF MFG OMG wie geil xD

  • I think u can only see that black spinning thing on camera depending on the FPS

  • it's cool but that black spinning thing looks really annoying.

  • haha the black spinning thing. dude think about it its only seen on a camera because of the frame rate not keeping up.

  • is that cpu cooler or just fan?

  • cpu cooler.

    its heavy as balls tho.

  • Yeah i got the Max orb one. The white one with the Blue LED. Its kinda big don't really like it.

  • I have one and i love it... best 35 euros i spent... and its very quiet... wich is good because sometimes i keep my PC runing during the night making downloads and i need to sleep as well...

  • Are you serious? I threw it out after like 2 months. It loud as hell, really the loudest part of my computer (i could never sleep while this was running). And its cooling performance is even worse: My C2Q Q6600 was running at 50-60°C idle, when playing games at nearly 80°C.

  • Get a decent silent power supply... or more air vents... Try to find out at how many rpm's was it running... High heat, high rpm's... Use a High Tower well ventilated instead of a closed Mid Tower... Ive a 4.0ghz QuadCore with 2 Gpu's with Crossfire and a 800watts power supply and it cant get much hotter than that and yet its quieter than a church mouse... even with small fans on my RAM's...

The bigger the fans, the quieter they are... Try a 23cm side fan if you have a closed mid tower pc...

  • ITS GREAT =D

  • can you change what it says

  • where can i get one because i cant find them anywhere

  • are you able to change the thing to degrees farenheight or no

  • Learn2Celcius.

The world does it, and metric is the US's official measurement system.

We just are too stupid and use inches and feet.

  • If you really want to know what it is in Fahrenheit then do this simple math

    Take Celsius

    Times by two

    Add 32

    Ends in Fahrenheit

  • This is not an accurate method to determine farenheit.

    30ºC = 86ºF

Using your method results in 92ºF which is a large margin if accuracy matters.

    There are 2 ways to get accurate temps;

    1) take your C temp, multiply it by 9, divide it by 5, and then add 32.

    Example. 30ºC = 86ºF

    30x9=270...270/5=54... 54+32=86

    2) take your C temp, multiply by 1.8, then add 32.

    Example. 54ºC = 129.2ºF

    54x1.8=92.2... 97.2+32= 129.2

  • oh fuck.this shit is HUGE.

  • that thang is REALLY noisy and I would find it annoying if I had one and on every screen that it is capable of displaying it has thermaltake written on it

  • actually these are noted for being very quiet

  • will this fit on my 780i mobo?

  • wait sorry about what i said before. It will fit but the connector is a 3 pin on the fan and on the mobo it is a four pin. unless there is a converter no

  • Cooling on this sucks nuts! If i increase the speed the text will be perplexed.

  • no it should apear better. Its like a LCD. It flashes 1 image a second aka 1fps you wont see it but at 30fps its smooth.

The faster it goes the more Solid looking the text will look.

  • Where can i buy 1 of this??

  • i remember my last thermaltake, 4 years ago... i thought it was space age

now they have this stuff, now i feel like a caveman

  • I'd like to get one of these, but I have an XFX 790i and I heard that people have a hard time putting larger cooling solutions on it. Anyone have any tips?

  • Wow Awesome!

  • It's gr8, love the temp.

  • i have this cooler...

i did hear right --> expensive??

    It coast less than 50$

    @kevininsimi

yes it works grat with this cooler

  • i have two of those

  • its to expenzive

  • In the Netherlands cost this cpu cooler €29.

    Thats not expensive.

  • those fins copper when i was installing the 9700 they sure cut me up

  • i buyed today the same, thermaltake sucks!

  • How does this compare with the Zalman 9700? The design looks nearly identical, but it appears the BlueOrb FX's split fin design would allow for greater heat dissapation. Any links?

  • Go to their website for spec.

  • I want a benchmark or similar. Specs are only part of the equation. Thanks anyways.

  • Can this work on the Phenom 9850?

  • So what's the best BlueOrb or HyperTx2?

  • why use a monitor if you can look at a fan like this?

  • lol cause not everyone has there case infront of there monitor...

  • Can guys tell me where you buy this? I live in canada BC. IF the store has a website send me link please! Someone help plz and ty

  • i got this but it dnt fukin fit because my chip is to close to the power supply

  • This is why you should take a piece of paper and cut the length of the cooler and measure your case out to avoid this issue.

I did the same damn think on my old Zalman cooler.

  • I think it ahould read your cpu temp, not the dbs.

  • has temp and dbs

  • /kill

  • does it show the cpu`s temp or the system`s???

  • damn thing wouldnt let me post the ulr! lol.

  • see my pc vid if u want if u wanna see one in a pc in action! :)

  • that one seems brighter tho for some reason?

cost about £29 inc p&p (uk) ((about 55 $ in us))i think and can get online got mine new from ebay.search it! :)

  • ive got one of these-looks sweet and cools well but could do with going a little faster to cool even better and when red led txt is on blue led dims could do with anouther blue one and or better power management.but worth it cos it looks trick and does its job!

  • Don't get this cooler. I have one..and have for a while.

Annoying to mount (needs bracket and screwing it in is almost impossible), literally impossible to clean the dust off and it has shit cooling performance for quad cores. I've had about 10 different mounts with varying levels of Arctic Silver, and one by a pro...it's just shithouse. Only looks good.

  • Thermaltake - 0 celsius degrees and 0dB - of course ! :))))))

  • thermalright = good cpu cooling, boring looking coolers thermaltake = good looking cpu coolers, bad cpu cooling

    common knowledge

  • cool, yet useles if u put it in a metal case with no transparent walls...

  • yet if tou have a case with a transparent side on your desktop, it becomes very cool.

  • Is this a bether cooler than the Zalman CNPS9700 ? (The big Orange ones)

  • Of course it's NOT O.O

Zalman CNPS 9700 is still the best CPU-cooler!!!!

  • Where can i buy one of these ?

  • that is a sick fan. wow. they probably dont come cheap either.

  • 40 bucks in japan

  • sweet heatsink. how is it im thinking about getting it on my next build.

  • Hehe ok, I havent really payed attention to processor`s sockets etc tho. But I guess I know now.. :P

  • this fan work to a core 2 quad?

  • Depends on what quad. This appearantly is a cooler for : Socket 775, AM2 . Check if your processor has socket 755

  • all core 2 quads are socket 775

  • hi.. where i can find the fan for buy, thanks..

  • ever heard of GOOGLE

  • have one, very cool cooler

  • I'm planning to build myself a PC, but I don't know which cooler to get between the Asus Silent Knight II, the Tuniq Tower 120-LFB or this for my E8400 processor. Can anyone give me any ideas to which would be best?

  • Tuniq tower is the best performance out of those 3

  • does any1 know if one ov these will fit on an ASUS P5-NE board

  • i got the p5ne sli board and the max orb fits on it so i guess this would fit on it 2

  • is there and size difrence between the max or and the blue orb

  • not sure but it looks bout the same

  • hi guys can i place it on msi p35 platinum? i ask u this because the motherboard has big piperheat on chipset

  • would be funny if it said cpu fried when you're overclocking too much :)

  • uhhhhhhhh very nice i like it :) i'll buy one for my new computer yeahh

  • yes but not SO good its a good cooler for a good pc

  • guyz is this doing the job good?

  • it sure will.. could bring the cpu temp down as low as 7deg. i'm getting one! plus it looks cool..

  • what about the MAx orb? looks even cooler xD

  • the max orb is better at cooling but with it, comes the noise. it's noisier than most coolers and you have to take off the casing to change speed because the speed control is on the cooler itself. compare to a stock cooling fan, the max orb drops the temp 12~14deg lower. read reviews online, more detailed review on it.

  • i think i will buy the ANTAZONE as C1000 cooler :)

  • does any1 know if this would fit on an asus p5ne motherboard please let m know it would be really helpful to me thnks

  • can you customize the text?

  • i have it =))

my case turned to a thermaltake billboard xD

  • How the hell does that work?

  • Probably some timing algorithm which will power the led at the right time based on what letter, and position it's in. It might appear the image is staying still but its being projected sequentially as it rotates.
