@jingles5492 on the side of the screen its says publish to...it has options underneath....you choose this computor

or in the topp left hand corner around where file and view, tools ect are there is a button that says pulish movie...use that instead. :) hope this helps you out

NintendoMage, why cant i publish my vid from WMM on my computer? I have published a test one sucessfully but when i try with the 11 min 1,9 mb real vid, when it gets to 13%, it says " Windows Movie Maker isnt able to publish the movie in the designed location.Before trying again, verify if the original files used in the movie are still available, if the designed location is available, if there is enough room in the disk and then try again" .

Does anyone know of a way to publish only individual segments after having spliced? Ill try to explain what im asking, lol when a video is spliced, for example in 3 diff places, is it possible to publish only one of the individual segments instead of having to delete all of the other segments before and after the segment I want to individually publish?

Okay so i just made a video its a 9 min clip. it doesnt seem to let me trim the end or split it. I am now publishing my movie. The green counter started at 72% remaining and it going backwards 73,74,75 and now ive got 93 minutes remaining. Yesterday it published until 17 % and then the laptop crashed...what do I do?

everytime i hit publish it gives me a message saying that i either dont have enough disk space, or tha the location does not exist. i have 1gb disk space available and ive tried many locations none work, PLEASE HELP

The only thing that I can think of that would cause that is, that you might have deleted some of your clips before you published it. I did it a few times. When ever I try to watch things that I have published in the past it appears black because I deleted the clips I used to make it with. So make sure that you don't delete your clips before you publish it and put it on youtube. good luck.

It won't work if you delete the pics or videos before you actually publish it to your computer and to youtube. I don't know if that will help you or not but I hope it will :) talk to me if it still doesnt work. ty.

I would suggest deleting any older published video on your computer to make room for the newer ones.

4%? hummmm. if you could show me a video of it for describe the situation in full detail, then I could help you more thuroughly. Because there are multiple things that could cause that.

@Miskenesco I had to check my OS Disk - Wasn't that, I checked the publishing locations - (VIDEO FOLDER/DESKTOP) - Wasn't that, and then I checked my picture, music and video folder and everything I used was in there so I was way Confused ... Then I realised I had un-installed and deleted most of my programs (excdept from the relevent ones) and must have deleted the clips before I publish my movie...XD
