nice tips...fairly straight forward too. One thing to note is accessories especially on men project a certain image that one has to be quite careful with - ear rings and where you have them for example. Also type of jewelry - if you're wearing cheaper silverware or gold on your neck (14 or 18 carat) vs. 21 carat gold. So it really boils down to what image you want to portray

(Cont) For cufflinks, most places have minor variations of the same stuff so I like to hit the discount tux stores for something different. They usually have sets with button covers for like $25 so you can use the links with everyday dress shirts and if you have a black tie event you already have button covers to go with your tux for a nice, unique (non-rental) look.

Local artisans can be found in the yellow pages and such, or you can check out craft shows, flea markets, etc. You might find 1 great piece for every 50 booths you check out but since it will be something awesome that you'll wear for years, it's worth it.

Out of curiosity, if I want to wear a ring but because of my large knuckles, and ring that will fit over my knuckle will jostle and not actually fit.

I would try using soap to slip on a smaller ring. If that just won't work, I guess you could go with a thumb ring if you were just dying to wear one. But, just my oppinion is that guys who wear thumb rings look kinda silly. But one again, just my thoughts.

For watches, I've never been a fan of watches with a metallic strap like the one you have in the video. I have a fairly serious look and I am trying to move away from it, as such i am open to suggestions.

1. Are simple leather straps still in style? My watch has a brown leather with a stainless steel head.

2. Is it okay to mix and match stainless steel with silver?

Fedoras are a great accessory, if you can pull them off. They are back in style big time. I however can't wear them because of my pointy ears, just doesn't look good on me. But I love them on guys who can wear them well.  Pocket watches are nice and will set you apart from others. Cuffs are up to you. French cuffs are dressier but look nice.
