I hear the perfect admixture of Gish, Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot, a bit of Meloncholie & The Infinite Sadness, some Machina, and (naturally) a pinch of Zeitgeist thrown in for good measure. Yet, James and D'rcy are nowhere in sight.... How is such a thing possible? ;-) Regardless of the body collectively dubbed 'Smashing Pumpkins,' Billy has always been its soul.
@BehaviorModification I'd say it was much more Zeitgeist than anything else (it reminds me strongly of United States) but that doesn't make it anything other than a damn fine song.
