I haven't yet used your style of frame for homemade tattooing but I can vouch for the method used for the 3 needle bar with the bic pen tube melted down. It definitely was one of the best needle arrangements I have used for homemade style machine. The finished tattoo came out excellent it worked both for outlining the tattoo and provided a reasonable paced black ink filling in process, the shading also came out in a smooth gray when done at faster speed in circles. good video!

break it open,

you will see a round metal piece connected with 2 wires,

cut it off, but leave some wire on there so you can connected it to a power source,

ps, if you remember the old plastic clear ps2 controllers, when the controller vibrates, and you see that metal piece that spins to make the controller vibrate, that is the motor

Hey man, Thanks for te videos,,,,I got a needle, got a bic pen and i bent the ink tube, dipped the needle into the ink, and i ot the needle and scraped in and refilled with ink, well 1 did it once and it got fucked up, i did another and put a thin layer of deoderant (cause i heard u can use it or vaseline after it is put on,) and i let it heal overnight and it came out halfway...what can i do to do it with needle and ink tube...im in process of making a gun this way tho

@AkumaDante12 If you have the motor, get a power supply (2-4 volts output, too high it'll burn it out) and it needs to like on headphones where you can divide the wires. Pull off the plastic, and get to the bronze wires on the inside, then you connect the 2 bronze wires around the two contacts that sticks out on the motor on the back. If you're not sure if it'll work, twist the bronze around each of the connections on the back of the motor, make sure it's tight, and plug it in slowly.

@AkumaDante12 btw the power supply is NOT headphones obviously. I got my motor from an older haircutter/trimmer, and as a power supply I use the recharger for that haircutter, so it won't overload.

i have my own (not like this) it is a mechanical pencil tho... i know u said that it eats a lot of ink... but wat i figured out after awhile of doing tats... u just gotta have the needle stick out about 3mm and to attach my needle to my paper clip i use sewing thread. for my motor i use the OtHeR motor from a CD player... not the round one... but thers 2 its kinda rectangular. im still workin on something like u got wher i can change the tubing. but i just do my own. so i have no worry.

I don't use guns for my tattoos. but the way I keep the ink in my skin is to just make sure there is ink around the tip of the needle when I pierce the skin. I coil thread around the tip of the needle. just around the tip. It soaks with ink and you have a healthy supply. I just don't use a gun though, I jus' do it manually. I don't hurt and you have more control, that is if you have the patients.

I make my needles out of a paper clip and a piece of guitar string. First I straighten the paper clip then coil the paper clip aroud a nail the I solder the piece of guitar string.

quick question... why on earth did you bother with all the effort of a professional needle when you can get medical grade ones (lancets, even, that are sharper than any Singer needle) for so little money and know they are sterile ...

If it was me, I'd use a blood pressure monitor with the pen function and put a motor to that--they are designed to fit between the thumb, index, and middle finger to get a precise puncture at adjustable depths. Don't forget the povidone iodine, needle AND skin.
