Really.. if a person just heard Moya Brennon here for the first time & had never heard the god like sounds that have come out of her throat ..that person would have to conclude based upon this performance that she was rubbish.

Fact is ..she is human & this probably is not in her key or she could not hear herself...and fact is, she and Clannad, are a national treasure..

@merseybeat1963 'Rubbish' might have been just a tad strong. Working both studio and live performances, I came to appreciate the quality of a live performance for just that - it is live. Sometimes the wind blows, or the mix is off, inside or out, it can be hard at times to get the right mix live, and you can't stop and re-do. But you have the exquisite experience of the 'experience'. When you watch a recording of a live performance, it is never the same, and you are right about the key etc.

@EmuUpAGumTree: Sorry, but your comment was very poor. Your ears and mouth didn't gel well and were woefully out of touch. Their arrangement wasn't very good either with the brain being unsound... Go and see the 'in your mind' version, you cannot compare them.

I mean really - it was live and they sounded great together. Do you really only listen to CD's all the time and have some technical version of what you think it should sound like? Two great entertainers doing what they do best ;-)

Why insult me when all I did was say a valid response about the arrangement and vocals? I never insulted you or Sharon, but said their voices didn't go well, Sharon actually sounded pretty good, Moya however NOT and their voices don't harmonize well. FACT.

People like you who define yourself through celebrity defending them by insulting other youtubers like they are your personal savior and lifeblood is pathetic to say the least.

@EmuUpAGumTree 'Snippy' - lol - love it - It's been a long time since I've talked to anyone so quaint they still use 'snippy'. And I'm not sure how I insulted you. Was it because I assumed you had a sense of humor? A lack of alas or is it alack alas? But we both know what happens when one assumes. Do people really expect concert hall quality when they are watching here? I mean the quality on this site, is here. But I have to say i don't require it. By the way, opinions are not FACT. ;-)

@Kelt4ever PS; I've seen many bands live including The Corrs themselves several times when they were in Australia over the years and have seen this performed LIVE in front of me by Caroline and Sharon and each time I was blown away.

So 'technically' I DO have an idea of what it SHOULD sound like and not from a CD.

Go back to stalking Mila Kunis, because talent and taking constructive criticism is something you obviously know nothing about.

Sorry, but this was very poor. Moya and Sharons voice didn't gel well and were woefully out of tune. The arrangement wasn't very good either with the accordion sound... Go and see the unplugged version, you cannot compare them.
