The music video is about how the band members are all sitting at a club, trying to work up the nerve to talk/dance with people. The burns are all the cigarrettes he's smoking, while he's waiting for that nerve to build. Finally when he decides to go for it, he transitions into a bad trip, and returns to the others. At least, that's what I take it to mean.

I finally know the meaning of this video. It's about being high on weed. Basically the lead singer dude stood up, walked away and was practically experiencing a trip throughout the whole video and because time moves much slower while on weed, it felt like he was away very long. Also these burning effect in this video, is what is like being high. You'll see such stuff in your eyes.
