  • This is the same thing as the ITAC light and the ITAC seems to be cheaper so if it says Sig your gonna pay extra for just that reason.

  • MINE BROKE! IT'S A PIECE OF SHIT!

  • im thinking about going ahead and getting this

  • I have this unit as well and use it with my Beretta PX4 Storm. It functions readily and I agree with the statements made about it in this vid, both good and bad. One thing to note, some have commented on the ghosting you can see with the laser. I have noticed it as well, but the ghost image is so much less than the primary image that I have had no problem whatsoever with distinguishing it. I haven't seen any problems with that at all. It has a brother, the 300J for long guns. BRITE LITE!!!

  • Where did you get that scale Sheriff ? lol. Nice vid.

  • I purchased one of these units, but due the the integrated flashlight and laser reflector, when adjusting the windage to sight-in the laser with my Sig P226 sights, the laser beam hits the tunnel in the reflector and results is 2 laser beams. That is a total show stopper in my book, have 2 beams now. Therefore, I would not recommend it.

  • PROS- very well made, very bright even compared to an M6X light and uses only 1 CR 123 battery instead of 2, laser stays zeroed even on my HK91 .308, locks in place by screwing it down tight which is great on long rifle applications, strobe feature is blinding great for tactical entry.CONS- controls are over complicated and can be confusing in a real SHTF scenario, no pressure switches availableotherwise this might be the perfect weapon light I'm a Deputy Sheriff & carry this on my ar15 onpatrol

  • @bigdaddygrandmasterc

Interesting points.. and good to hear it works "on the job" thats the real test of any light like this

    thanks

  • I own this light/laser. Found it for $100 at my local indoor range. As mentioned it does the job. However for Glock owners, like myself, you need to switch the factory rail lock for the one included in the box.

  • perfect product at the perfect price. I found it at botachtactical website

  • So it doesn't look like this weaponlight/laser will work with any of the popular light bearing holsters because of the nub on the left and screwdown on the right? I was liking this device (light/laser in same reflector) because it's smaller profile compared to the horrible glock light. I'd just assume get the tlr-1s because I like the paddles, the smaller profile, and obvious compatibility to the raven or bladetech holsters. Bummer! This was a contender! tx for review!

  • @nativemozza its $90 @.botachtactical

  • thanks for the review. i bought one after viewing it and its just as you describes. definitely worth the $80

  • @jptsrone

Where did you buy one for $80?

  • @GunWebsites

Can you make a new video (doesn't have to be long) about how the light looks at different ranges at night? If you can thanks

  • @battleshipt

We'll keep it in mind, thanks for the suggestion

  • One thing that I've notice nobody mention before.. After about 300 rounds with the stl-900l attached, the lens gets a pretty thick coat of powder, hindering the effectivness of the light and laser. They should make a cover for it... For anyone who has the ghosting laser, clean your lens, it worked for me.

  • Does this fit the ruger P95?

  • The Laser needs to be part of the green or black buttons. I love the 2 different buttons on both sides they are great.

  • Great Light. It will not lock on a Glock 19. And I have not found a remote switch for it yet. Don't think they make one for it. I tried it on my Glock 19 and even though it looked locked into place and after tightening it all the way down it still would move forward after about 5 rounds and almost fall off. So it looks like it would only fit on a large frame hand gun. I ended up using it on my Shot gun and like it on there. But the laser switch does suck.

  • good review ... I do own this light and yes, there is a bit of a "ghost" on the laser. I will get to test SIG Sauer's customer service on this one as mine did fly off tonight on my sixth shot from my P229SC .40 S&W and the polymer part that attaches to the rail cracked. (Yes ... I did have it attached properly and cranked tight)

  • do u think it will fit an HK USP?

  • How well does the laser hold zero?

  • Trying to decide on this or the Surefire X400 for an H&K 45 w/ the pictanny rail. Any suggestions?

  • IMO this is not even in the same ballpark as the Surefire X400 ..

Their prices indicate their quality / durability

  • I'm pretty sure you'll never have to worry about replacing the bulb. The three and five watt Luxeon LED's don't really go bad--unless you light them on fire, drive over them, etc. It takes about 100,000 hours to kill one otherwise. And, there should be a sort of "circuit breaker" function" in the circuitry.

The ghost image from the laser shouldn't cause a problem in regards to targeting. It's just displeasing to the eye.

  • good points

  • I happen to own one of these little units and am quite happy with it. I feel your review is pretty much spot on. One thing you didn't mention is the laser tends to throw a bit of a ghost image which is minimally annoying. Otherwise, the unit functions quite well and holds solidly to its zero point. As to the allen wrench, I lost it on my first trip out with it! It doesn't hold in its slot very well at all!

    All in all, good review.

  • thanks for the info.. always good to hear from owners.. I didn't know about the 'ghost' image it produces

  • the feature of the laser in the area of the light might not be good. I'm getting the impression that you would have to buy some custom Sig lightbulb every time a fuse blows. The bad thing with this theory is that if either the laser or flashlight goes out itself, you may have to buy a completely new lightbulb to replace it.

  • I'll look closer at that, but I thing the bulb is normal / standard.. the laser is in the bezel (silver mirrored funnel around bulb), not in the bulb

  • i saw one of these on a sig Mosquito not too long ago.

  • this would be perfect for a suppressed Mosquito..

  • iTAC WLL1...check it out it is the same light/laser.

I love Sig Sauer and their firearms but not a fan of their optics and light/lasers. Is this light made in China?

Great overview, like the new camera!

  • I'll look to see where it's made.. I would say it is a level up from their version of the Aimpoint T1.. but it is no Surefire

  • like the vid....

  • never came across this before i like it !

  • I felt the same way the first time I saw it

I like the strobe feature, even if it gets ragged on by most 'tactical' guys

  • Yeah the strobe feature is the best part i wish there was a quick detach but other than i think its great im gonna have to get one now thanks for the review. The stobe feature would be great to throw a bad guy off his game!
