lol yes it's the sun. It is shining THRU the clouds as it often does. The cam automagically blanks it out so it doesn't wash out the picture. But if you are happier thinking that it is a UFO, then be my guest. lol.

lol.. didn't know you were one of my r/c buddies from "across the pond". You guys don't get to see the sun as often it seems. lol. Yes I am getting the Slash 4X4 1/10th scale. And I will do a review. However, Traxxas is saying Dec 18th for shipping now, so it may be after christmas before it actually arrives. But once I get it, you can be sure it will be in some videos on this site. :)) Cheers.

lol. Unfortunately in the US if you belong to the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) which I do, it is against the rules to drop anything explosive from an aircraft because of safety. But some guys make "flour bombs" that look real with a puff of flour when they hit. :)

Do you have rubber bands holding it, so you can get the prop spinning, and when it reaching a certain thrust the rubber bands break, and the play goe by by???

No the rubberbands on both rudders (in back) where to hold it down while I was driving. Otherwise it tries to fly off if there is a breeze.  There is actually a rubberband bungie underneath it in the front that is stretched very tight. When I get the motor up to speed I pull down a lever that releases that bungie and flings the plane forward. If you watch closely during the slowmo shots you can see the rubberbands still bouncing at the front of the launcher after the plane goes past. :)

so does that green fith scale of yours work?

mine is a carson fg, just an older one. doesnt want to handle at all. you can accelerate it as slow as you want. its a 2 stroke though so it has a power band and as soon as it hits the power band your RPMs increase and it spins out. i just need bigger rims and softer tires. i also need to clean the carb on it or get a carb rebuild kit(it may need one) its a walbro carb though so not not hard or expensive to get one

No it's not even a really hobby class car. It's electric and runs on D cells... lol. That's how old it is.
