i know i'm pretty late with this comment, but you can enable the navigation bar in nautilus by installing 'gconf-editor', and enabling apps>nautilus>always_use_browser.
@A135S4656 enterprise Os means that it is used mostly for servers and high workflow business areas but this doesn't mean that u can not use it in ur desktop or laptop..
@weeliano I thought the same thing. I have been watching some videos by InfinitelyGalactic and noticed that many of them have a considerable number of dislikes for no obvious reason. I just don't get it. All these overviews/reviews are very useful.
Dude, who are all these people hating on your videos? so many dislikes on all of them and from what seen so far they are all really good. Seems like someone doesn't like you.
Great Linux Distro review! this is in my top 5 Enterprise distro list thank you for your quality reviews, they are very informational and helped me make a lotta decisions. 22 people failed at installing CentOS and decided to troll your video
Great review, as always. I love CentOS. I am building an FTP server soon and CentOS 6 will surely be my distro of choice. Did the installer give you the option of leaving things out, such as the games? I do not want any games at all, and want to strip it down as much as possible. Just curious.
Also, have you had a chance to check out Scientific Linux? It is another distro based off of RHEL.
@Makousen Yes, on the full install DVD, you can customize what packages you want to install. I've been thinking about Scientific Linux...I'll see if that's something to put in the pipeline. Thanks for the input :-)
Why do you make statements like "this'll work on any hardware you throw at it"?, for anyone using SandyBridge this wouldn't work for shit as kernel 3.1 is needed for proper support and even that isn't fully there yet, despite Intel launching it 3/4 of a year ago. The Linux graphics sub system is too crappy to even work with the on chip int' gpu.
Gnome .28 oh great !, and exactly what 'enterprises' on earth would use this astounding garbage.
I'm currently running CrunchBang on my 1.6ghz netbook, how willt his run on it?

If I would have some office, then I would install it as a desktop os for my workers.
That's why.

What exactly is an enterprise OS? I don't understand all the links I googled.
Like would this do good if I were to just install CentOS on one of my laptops and then used that, or is it like for big businesses?

What is the name of that song in the intro/opening? I've heard it before but just cannot remember where or what it's called!

@4tooitous I think it's just called 'Travel'. It's just a simple loop that I got from the iLife DVD sound effect library a long time ago.

To your knowledge, is it easy (or even advisable) to upgrade to a newer version of KDE? I wouldn't use Gnome 3 if my life depended on it :-p
