If you like philosophical movies or movies that make you think, you should check out one called Waking Life. It's strange in that it doesn't have a plot as much as a character going around and hearing everyone's philosophies on life and eventually learning to construct their understanding of the world. What's cool is that every frame of film was painted over, giving it an animated, yet realistic feel in the motions, mannerisms and surroundings.

I saw "Another Earth" at SXSW this year and I have to say that the trailer does not do the film justice. From what I saw in the film the real story is about a girl who does make a huge mistake and attempts to make up for her actions and about redemption and forgiveness. The second Earth plot was more of a background storyline that really doesn't come into play until the end of the movie. I really suggest watching it as I consider it one of the best I saw this year.

I just watched the trailer again for Another Earth, and it seems interesting and an nice change of pace from what has been out lately. It did well at Sundance, it will at least make a decent amount of cash because of that. The girl that wrote it apparently had another film that was picked up as well.

I saw "Another Earth" at SXSW this year and I have to say that the trailer does not do the film justice. From what I saw in the film the real story is about a girl who does make a huge mistake and attempts to make up for her actions and about redemption and forgiveness. The second Earth plot was more of a background storyline that really doesn't come into play until the end of the movie. I really suggest watching it as I consider it one of the best I saw this year.

Your outlook on a secong planet earth was deep. but if it is a replica of our earth and us, wouldnt is be the same as this earth? and to be honest not sure if i would want to visit a planet with another me on it, cause what if it is the oppisite of us? then that me would be the evil me! not sure i could handle that. just saying.
