Absolutely beautiful bridges! I hope to do something similar with my N scale layout once I move out of my college apartment. A freight depot (or a water tower or switching tower) would look fantastic on that outcropping.
Sorry I don't have any plans. I just looked for photos of bridges I liked and copied them by eye.... The metal bridges mostly I used 1/2 sq. tubing and 1/4 sq. rod.
I was using angle iron for my roadbed. I have changed to just laying it on to some crushed stone. This seems to work pretty good and is a popular way of doing it.
Nice layout, Jeffery! I'm an ex CPR guy and I have a few nice G scale statics. Hate to tell you this but you have a marshaling violation in your first drag-that tank car should not be ahead of the caboose but cut in 5 deep from t.e. Sorry could'nt resist! lol lol.
Oh no! I see a law suit coming! lol. I love to hear of facts like that. I have to admit I just mix my cars up anyway I like so not really sure whats "legal"
thank you forthe videos , I espec. enjoyed the part about slow motion controls and the home made turnouts, would love to see a video on just them,Ivethought about similar construction.
this is a great layout, but what kind of track and trains do you use? is it marklin?

g scale layout is an under statement. How about g scale empire!

It would be a shame if one of those trains ran off the tracks.

Hello, I have recently looked into buying G scale trains for my backyard... Should I use roadbed or put them into the ground directly???

Unbelievable, wish i had the time, money and perseverance to create such an amazing layout. Keep it up.
Also, what a lovely house you have in such a beautiful location. Gorgeous scenery.

how many cars was that first train over the bridge. thats the longest i've seen.

I'm not sure how many cars I had hooked up. It was about 45 feet long though, judgeing by the length of the bridge
