  • Jake E Lee His moves are so cool.Just awesome unique guitarist-in my top 5 for sure- best showman Number 1

  • I'm certain this 1985 recording isnt doing the band justice.

True they slipped up in a few places... But being there at the time would have been fucking amazing. Especially concidering the amount of substances they're on.

  • Somebody give that man a face cloth! lol

  • Legends? If this is a legend your bar is set very low. The only legends Ozzy has been near in his life is his backing bands. Yes I heard the beginning he asked if the crowd was high...doesn't mean he is... Go smoke your dope loser.

  • Ozzy sounds like dogshit here. He has never been a great vocalist but jesus, he's almost slobbering on the mic.

  • Haha I loved the half assed drum intro :P

  • jake does a super job on this song,

  • i love this song, too bad the audio isn't better, great lineup to

  • And as you can hear, his singing is horrible due to superb overdrug xD

  • He's pretty sweaty! :O And the band is crap compared to what they were in 1982 or before...

  • somebody fucked up that intro

  • O maior fetival de rock de todos os tempos, o rock in rio de 85. Nunca mais haverar outro igual. Hoje ROBERO mendina faz este festival com o mesmo nome e só, nada de rock, uma pena.

  • さんきゅ

  • What a Epic show, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Queen, and Ozzy!!! If I have a Time Machine the two places i like to go be Woodstock 69, and Rock in Rio 85!!

  • Love seeing Bob play.

  • Nice clip, shit sound.

  • The Drummer was drunk or high he sounded like SHIT.....Jake E. Lee didnt sound to much better...............

  • I love Aldrige but god the drum intro was awful I wonder why he's done it way better before back in the Randy days

  • did anyone see the fight at 2 05

  • what the fuck happened to that drum intro? even ozzy noticed how bad it was. nice to know even aldridge is human

  • Amamzing how Jake compensates not havin a whammy bar!

    Fukin ay!

This is the guy i wanted to be when i was in High School!

    LOL!

  • keyboards are too high

  • I had no idea he ever played this agin after 1982

  • they played it up to 1986.

  • i have 2 or 3 audio record of over the mountain from 1986 and i also have the last performance of this song!!!

    i'll upload them! :D

  • Cool, I know they did it early in the Ultimate Sin tour in 1986 during the England tour.

  • sweet!

  • please do! I have alwayz wanted to hear a version of this song played by randy castillo who is my favourite drummer from ozzy

  • @kdjdhdbdb actually, I think he did it once in 92 for the randy rhoads tribute show

  • @kdjdhdbdb

It's been a year dude. When'll we get to hear them?

  • @drquesadilla i have troubles with my internet connection, this is why i didn't uploaded anything for a long time...sorry

i'll try to share that recording as soon as i can!

  • @kdjdhdbdb

    Sweet! Was just curious

  • Jake E. Lee does the greatest job at covering Randy Rhoads.

  • i have seen mostly all of ozzys guitarist randy , brad , jake , zakk , and joe. they have all impressed me they all have there own styles i respect them all randy had a special style that really stood out. jake also was creative but in his own way zakk is more of a metal sound with a lot of over drive which gives ozzys sound a more intense sound and joe was a virtuoso.

  • I like how Jake doesnt rip off Randys solos all the way, it sounds way better anyway.

  • Agree w/ Lordhate, Jake seemed to stay true to Randy's solos. That's what irritated me about Brad Gillis, because he did not. Jake truly is one of the most underrated guitarists of his time.

  • Maybe I misunderstood Lordhate, do you mean that he wouldn't improvise his own solos or just stay true to the original. Jake for the most part stayed true to Randy's solos-I think he had his own songs in which he could display his chops. If you haven't already, check out his solo during Suicide Solution on the BATM from SLC '84.

  • Too bad the audio sucks, they played well but I can barely hear Jake E. Lee's guitar. That's probably the best part about watch Ozzy shows.

  • sounds like ozzy does not fare too well in the heat

  • A nasty fist fight breaks out at 2:05, check it out. haha

  • the beginning of the mosh pit! lol

  • but not this is the best performance!!!! :)

but i've got the show, where ozzy sang this song last time!!!! that show is from 1986!!!!

    and that's a perfect performance!!!!

    i'll upload it soon!

  • i have many audio record of this song from 1982!

but this performance is better than any other performance from 1982, that i heard!

but this performance isn't perfect, it's far from perfect!

but this is the best live version of Over the Mountain that i ever heard!

  • i personally like the Chicago 82 version better than this.

  • Yeah! Rock in Rio, great show and Ozzy its a awesome frontman, but, he is very drunk on this night, anyway its so good and i see the show from my tv in 85.

  • deadly!!!

  • this rare line up playing this song in 85
