I'm certain this 1985 recording isnt doing the band justice.
True they slipped up in a few places... But being there at the time would have been fucking amazing. Especially concidering the amount of substances they're on.
Legends? If this is a legend your bar is set very low. The only legends Ozzy has been near in his life is his backing bands. Yes I heard the beginning he asked if the crowd was high...doesn't mean he is... Go smoke your dope loser.

What a Epic show, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Queen, and Ozzy!!! If I have a Time Machine the two places i like to go be Woodstock 69, and Rock in Rio 85!!
i have seen mostly all of ozzys guitarist randy , brad , jake , zakk , and joe. they have all impressed me they all have there own styles i respect them all randy had a special style that really stood out. jake also was creative but in his own way zakk is more of a metal sound with a lot of over drive which gives ozzys sound a more intense sound and joe was a virtuoso.
Agree w/ Lordhate, Jake seemed to stay true to Randy's solos. That's what irritated me about Brad Gillis, because he did not. Jake truly is one of the most underrated guitarists of his time.
Maybe I misunderstood Lordhate, do you mean that he wouldn't improvise his own solos or just stay true to the original. Jake for the most part stayed true to Randy's solos-I think he had his own songs in which he could display his chops. If you haven't already, check out his solo during Suicide Solution on the BATM from SLC '84.
Yeah! Rock in Rio, great show and Ozzy its a awesome frontman, but, he is very drunk on this night, anyway its so good and i see the show from my tv in 85.
Jake E Lee His moves are so cool.Just awesome unique guitarist-in my top 5 for sure- best showman Number 1

Ozzy sounds like dogshit here. He has never been a great vocalist but jesus, he's almost slobbering on the mic.

I like how Jake doesnt rip off Randys solos all the way, it sounds way better anyway.

Too bad the audio sucks, they played well but I can barely hear Jake E. Lee's guitar. That's probably the best part about watch Ozzy shows.

sounds like ozzy does not fare too well in the heat
