Oh my god this is soooo sad!! We work with columbus ohio reps. all the time to stop or at least regulate puppy mills . We have a puppymill girl that is now about 6 yrs. old and when we first got her she froze in the grass, her little feet had never touched grass, she had a luxating patella and an infected eye. She is our baby now and will never have to endur that treatment again. Please people, investigate before you buy a puppy or better yet go to the shelter and save a babys life.

I am trying so hard to do my part....yet millions are still waiting. Lets all step up and atleast foster a couple...and raise money to help fund spay and neuter and get the word out there. I am selling shirts to fundraise...and this song will be on them as well. Just sad! God Bless THEM ALL!
The only reason puppy farms/mills still exist is because the people keep buying from them. We won't be able to cancel them out, or outlaw them. We will be able to make sure they have no market:
Don't buy from puppy farms (duh)
Don't buy from pet stores
Don't buy from online (where you can't see the mother with its' puppies in the home)
Don't buy a puppy if you can't see the mother (UNLESS it is being sold for a genuine reason, with references to the breeder they originally got it from)

the truth of the matter is, we need to stop pet stores from selling puppies! in ohio, i know that they are the main buyer of puppies from the amish puppy mills and other's. it is a disgrace! go into any PETLAND and ask to see a puppies paperwork. i bet you they come from a yoder or a miller! amish country ! stop puppy mills now!
I have to say those puppy mills are just tear jerking and disgusting.. I own my own home and have two children, 15 and 6. I do have some pets..rats and a snake, two frogs and two fish but would be happy to help foster these precious babies if need be. Feel free to contact me at yurnymph@yahoo

If you are buying a young puppy from someone who is selling on a puppy for a genuine reason, make sure you talk to the breeder they are referencing.
Never buy a puppy if you can take it home the same day you first find out about the litter.
Be smart! Stop puppy mills!
