How abount not blinking the leds untils the knock sequence is over? You are telling the knocker when the knock is right or wrong immediatly. They could then guess at the pattern.

Nice work! You can use an electronic strike instead of a servo motor. The strike takes a 12V signal to release and allow the door to open. A security system install company will have the strike. You can get used ones for about $25.
