Since the drums are the weaker part of the ds10 it would be great to pair it with an older or newer Electribe! I love your track by the way! Even with the ds10 drums it's good!
It's a pretty simple setup really synthwise. The main synth is 2 detuned saw oscillators through a resonant bandpass filter and a bunch of overdrive. The arpeggio is a square synced with a saw, again through a resonant bandpass. LFOs on cutoff and sync osc pitch. Nearly everything is through the delay effect.
It's a shame you can't really share these songs properly. I'd love to just put it up somewhere for you to get.
This leans towards the electro/industrial realm, didn't know the DS-10 could emulate such dark sounds like these. Everything else is chip tunes and trance. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I love all kinds of electronic music, but I wanted to hear the wide spectrum of sounds this thing can make. good job!
Just what I wanted to see.Something that's been done on a single DS-10 and not a few DS-10 in sync.Cool track,I liked it alot and this has given me some inspirations to mess around with it alot more seriously.Weak bass drum? I don't think so.Powerful enough sounds that's coming from a little device which is basically a toy and not a music work stations like Korg EMX.Nice vid 5 stars from me.
What "sample"? I dare you to get a good solid kick out of this thing without doubling tracks, and i doubt that would even be worth the time considering it'd strip you of a drum slot. The DS-10 is probably never going to sound truly fierce in that regard without making really painful sacrifices
i dont have this game but from what i've seen it appears u can make ur own drums in the synth editor part. I think you can edit the drums too just as you can to the synth.
Yup. Except the drums you make are basically resampled internally (don't modulate over time), can't be repitched much post without completely killing the sound, are in mono, have a maximum length (no long reverbed claps) and pretty much ignore stereo effects.

Do you have the config/synth setup for this still? If so, please PM me. I'd like to discuss more about the KORG DS-10.

I wish there was a site that allowed you to share songs. It is quite difficult to setup from the get go.

as usual, leave it to the scandinavians to make any decent sounding music with a chiptune device.

Weak Bass Drum Sample but the rest is nice. The drum ruins it.

This is not a great percussive synth.
