  • it looks hilarious the way your tongue sticks out when you sing.

  • @whatsabolero ha ha I know but it's part of the advanced open throat technique I use that allows me to sing like that :-)

  • WOW!! You sang that better than Steven Tyler. Not a fan of Aerosmith, but I must admit I like him on American Idol!!

    :-)

  • 0:48 the epic scream

  • That was super amazing. How many years would it take the average person to hit that high pitched "DREAM ON"? ( out of curiosity :) )

  • @ThePunPunisher I have hit that note since I was about 19

  • @kentamplin THANK YOU for the reply! I think I'll be buying your How to Sing Better than Anyone Else Bundle soon, i've given up on Singing Success and my vocal teacher so your my new hope :P (don't worry about responding 2 this text, i know u must have hundreds of messages per day its just a thank you post)

  • @ThePunPunisher hey man I just started using Singing Success like 2 weeks ago, previous to that I had been singing untrained for a year and a half with no knowledge of vocal exercises or anything ( I'd sing Deep Purple and King Diamond stuff so pretty falsetto based) ... I just wanted to ask, how long did you use Singing Success? and should I just forget bout it now or continue on? Its only been 2 weeks so I haven't noticed too much improvement

  • Nice one! Can you make a video on how to sing like Eddie Vedder? Let me know

  • wow you are good man you should check out my music on ampzoit. I am wanting to produce music soon but I don't even have a condenser microphone so my qualitys abissmal but I have the passion to keep going and I want to be taken seriously.

  • @Ampzoit I'll check it out

  • Another nice demonstration. What did you think about the national anthem during the Patriot's game? I have a buddy of mine that has hung out with him a few times last year. He said Tyler was a really nice guy. Tyler sang at the local Home Depot where my buddy lives last year and made the news. LOL...he also said Tyler had no car while visiting and whipped out some plastic and bought a new porsche to drive around while here for the short visit.

  • such a great voice you have......

  • I'd like you to do a how to vid on Jon Bon Jovi and/or Richie Sambora

  • @ndermis97 I do already have a vocal sample of living on a prayer in one of my video medleys... check it out... it's the one that starts with the song ballroom blitz

  • Hiya, a vocalist here ;) If I can suggest You a little something master Ken - Your "How to" series are veery good idea and I bet a lot of ppl. would gladly see a Bruce Dickinson "How to" ;)

    Cheers!

  • @TheR00Z I have been thinking about doing one on Bruce soon :-)

  • @kentamplin Yay! And that's why You are one of coolest vocal instructors out there. And only one brave enough to face off with the icons and do it good! :]

  • Tyler's screaming is incredible. . . .

  • Ken Tamplin is the ONLY legit vocal coach that I've come across on Youtube. Pick almost any singer and he can sing just like them. I'm a huge Steven Tyler fan so to hear this was totally amazing.. especially when he hit the notes at :53. I was clapping at my computer! lol

  • I was wondering if you can give an example of how to sing like Joan Jett? Thanks your so awesome at singing theses songs :)

  • Ive been taking singing lessons for a long time now and i recently discovered that i really love to belt! ... I was wondering if you have any tips on how i can improve my belt? and how i can make it sound more powerful? would be great ... By the way your videos are amazing! :D

  • @chloew419 send me a samp,le of your singing ktvainfo@gmail.com

  • i've been doing alot of vocal exercise especially arpeggios but G#5 seems to be very hard for me. i can produce very tiny sound up to C6 and sometimes D6 but there is no power in that voice. anything above G5 is like another register in my voice. is this true or is there any way i can make this part of my voice powerful?

  • @togcbu this is what I teach at the ken tamplin vocal academy. com it's not some quick tip I can give you for this

  • I was watching your videos they are quite helpful, but I was wondering if you noticed that you're sing nasally in most of them, do you just sing like that, or are you choosing to sing nasal?

But i'm must say singing nasal can be cool, but it has to be a choice not a default.

  • @Ballermhcdj I only sing with mask when a song requires that...

  • YOU DID THIS LIKE A BOSS XD

im gonna call you the chamillion because you can imtate alot of styles

  • Always fascinating and compelling to watch.

  • beers bottles were shattered when you hit the false notes....shit you are good..!!!

  • I struggle doing songs from STYX...XD

  • you know none of those lyrics were correct right? lol..none :)

  • @tyler23458 sad I k now.

I was doing about 20 of tyhese demos in one day and blasted through them ha ha... I think most of the vowel sounds were right though ha ha

  • Loving these dissections of accomplished singers' voices! The reason I bought the program a few weeks ago is exactly because of how you put the techniques into song :)

By the way, does this go for most/all of Tyler's singing or mainly when it comes to Dream On?

  • @rustyfo1 it's mostly all of Tyler's singng, glad you are enjoying the How To Sing Better Than Anyone Else Course :-)

  • @kentamplin its good to see you sing, there are many vocal coaches in youtube that tell you how amazing they are and never actually sing......

  • @Andoni666 thank you
