Do not use the spas with range ,use damage because with range you will still get the hitmarkers up close .only use damage and switch up aiming and hipfiring both are needed in digferent situations !

It's upsetting you don't prestige. Spas-12 isn't terrible btw. You can one shot without steady aim if you pull up ads before each shot, similar to a quick scope. Take it from a guy who has 550+ "most shotgun kills" accolades. I'd say bullet for bullet the ksg vanilla is the worst shotgun. I recommend that you use dead silence when using both spas and ksg to come within close enough quarters.

The shotguns were nerfed because a bunch of people complained of how power full they were in mw2 so infinity ward said ok. They made them a primary weapon again, decreased the damage and range, which made my paintball gun more deadly. It's not infinity ward it's what "the people want".
