  • Awesome drawing! neat music, what is the name of this song?

  • That's really great! What program are you using?

  • id hit that

  • What's the name of this Visa Röster track?

  • very cool, im getting a bamboo to start off with and i hope its easier than it looks to coordinate with the tablet to screen :/

  • Hi, may i know what is the model of wacom are u using.. I want to buy one, do you have any recommendation what is the best model of this wacom?

  • @ahmadberlian

I use the intuos a4 size. If you have the cash to spare get this model..or a cintique if not you can get by with an a5 bamboo fun...it depends how serious you are about it.

Personally the most serious draftsman uses paper and pencil more so than tablets ;)

  • OOOHHH MY FREAKIN GOSH!!!!!!!! Youre to great 2 be true

  • @TheGuyWithTheAfro

That is a very generous comment for which I am extremely grateful to be on the receiving end of! thank you kindly :)

  • @eubasaban Can you only do that on a animators computer, or can you do that on a regular computer. I want 2 know because you've inspired me 2 try.

  • @TheGuyWithTheAfro

This can be done on any computer providing you have a pen tablet as opposed to a mouse. But I must stress that doing on paper is just as if not more effective! Many people think that they need to get a tablet to improve their drawing. Actually its best to work on paper before getting a tablet. Anyhow I wish you the very best with your drawing my friend :)

  • thats REALLY amazing

  • @cloiscool22309

    Thank you kindly.

  • Beautiful! I hope I could work in the animation industry too...

  • I would love to work in story.

  • She's beautiful!

  • cool, looks like Rogue from X - Men

  • Is a bamboo anygood for drawing like that? I've got one and I've yet to go all out--I'm sort of afraid of sucking at it for some reason :(

  • i think the picture would be better without the colours!!!

  • I wholeheartedly Agree with you! I was trying to quickly block in the colour in the 10 minute video time limit and ruined the picture!

  • have you done any comics or graphic novels that i can look for?

  • Thankyou kindly for your interest! I haven't done any comics.. I work in the animation industry ...Check out movies like tale of Despereaux and fantastic mr fox...Although my work is behind the scenes in storyboard so it doesn't get seen in the final product on the big screen :(

  • friking awsome

  • Many Thanks :)

  • isnt that the aladdin girl? :P

i own a wacom bamboo but im new to it...

any good tips on how to draw the black main lines and how to colourize?

  • Could i do the same thing with a small 5.4'' by 3.6'' wacom bamboo pen tablet? and with the corel essentials 4 software :)? btw ur drawing is amaaazing

  • Yeah sure you can! I like to work on an a4tablet because I like the space and freedom of sweeping strokes but I initially learned on an a5 tablet ..Im not familiar with the corel software but I am using the most basic tools so I think you should be fine. Thanks very much for the comment and have fun! :)

  • Excellent, but...

The difference between this and Disney is that they start with the construction sphere as just the cranium; the face below the eyes is then added underneath. That way, the forehead is rounder and larger and the eyes are positioned lower, which amounts to that mythical "cuteness." You used your construction circle for the whole face, which makes her cranium rather small and gives you a shaky "eye line."

I know you weren't going for perfect Disney, but it bugged me, haha.

  • Thanks for your comments. You are correct about generic Disney construction. Having worked in animation for 9 years I no longer use construction as a crutch as it is for the beginner who lacks confidence. My intention is to show how fast something can be achieved working loosely without sticking rigidly to formula. As to her cranium being small I believe you are focusing on the loose under drawing. The height is later adjusted and seems just right to me as does the eyeline. Thanks again :)

  • impressive, very impressive

  • Many thanks for the kind words.

  • HEY ARSHAD! Seen the Dark Knight yet? I was reading about how it got a "12A" rating in your town and it's got some folk upset.

Hey, have you had any experience using a Cintiq/Tablet PC? I've been looking into purchasing a Tablet PC for my work, and I've been trying to research the best purchase. I haven't actually been able to physically try any of them though, so I'd love to have some of your accounts on using one if ya got 'em.

  • Hey man! I have to say I only really hold an interest in Burton's Batman and Timm's early cartoon adaptations upto Batman Beyond.

I have used a cintiq but I had become so used to the tablet that I wasn't as good with it! It takes a few hours then you re-adjust!My advice is that if you're used to paper go straight to Cintiq but that said learning the tablet is really easy just write your name over!I have listed my model on another video it serves me just fine! I wish you the best with it!

  • Hey thanks man!

I've actually been using an old Graphire for the last 5 years, and while I love doing coloring and painting on it, it's hard to draw with it. I can do minor touchups, even sigs and stuff, but if I'm doing a bunch of full bodied poses, it just feels like it takes 8 strokes or more to make something half-decent that takes me one stroke to do well on paper. Inking with it is even tougher for me. I'm hoping that drawing on the screen will actually solve the problem a bit.

  • what program is that? how can i get it?

  • that was awesome. This video really should have more veiws. keep up the good work, you got skill.

  • Hey thanks a lot. Your comment is appreciated!

More views would always be nice but I'm thankfull for any amount anyways as well as the generous comments from people such as yourself!

  • Nice !

  • Hey thanks DemonRoyal!

  • your welcome .

  • Wow, I never get tired of watching you draw, and I have to say that this is one of the best you've put up here. I just love her eyes, so elegant and vulnerable, yet somehow sad. Absolutely amazing.

  • Hey Thanks a lot for your comments! I decided to go a little slower on this one and focus on the head and expression...I appreciate both your time and interest friend!

  • Well Mr Eubasasabian! What can I say...but esquisite skills that are truly galactacal! Excellent!
