This is what being a foster parent means most of the time. It's not cruel. It's an amazing gift to give to a child. A safe, loving home where they can grow and thrive until their parents can care for them again. Every foster parent goes through this but I think you have to think of foster kids like "I'm babysitting" not "I now have a child". That to me is the problem.

I mean there was no lack of clarity about Fritz coming back one day. Olli and Christian need to pull together.

Lily's SL might've been boring to begin with, but it's really mean to set up a family only to take it away in such a short time. I don't care what the writer's intention was, because the end result is homophobic: a gay couple can't have a happy family life or a commited relationship! Pity the writers were so lacking in talent that they resorted to the easiest & obvious way to create drama.

It is just unfortunate as the storyline was perfect in setting an example that two men married CAN have a child and bring the child up in a healthy and loving environment.

I think the balance between their personalities is really great and it seems like there have been many times where one will sort of push their feelings aside in support of the other. Apparently Christian is taking the news about Lily's being taken away from them, alot harder than Olli is at the moment. It would be easier if I could hate Lilly's father, but I can't. I can't hate a guy who approves of Olli and Christian's relationship and who allowed them to be foster parents to his child. And as much as I do hate to say it, Lilly does have the right to get to know her father and her real family. One day Christian and Olli will realize that it's what's best for Lilly.

It also means that if Chrolli separates, Christian could permenantly stop Oliver from seeing the child without question.

@Doridantoni I can't speak for re: German media depiction of black people but what I like about Fritz was that he was shown as a good man wanting the best for the people he loved. Also having Fritz as a non-German makes Chrolli losing Lily more tragic as if she was living in Germany it would be easier for the boys to see her and set up some sort visitation with Fritz. But with Lily living in Cameron seeing her regularly would be a challenge for the boys and gives more depths to them losing Lily.

Its almost like they switched roles. Remember in the begining Christian was the one telling Olli that they would have to let her go someday, and when Fritz showed up; he was constantly telling Olli that Fritz was her father and that they [Lilly and Fritz] belonged together.

I guess he kept recalling Olli about the whole situation because he was afraid that Olli would suffer when Lilly returned to her father.

Nonetheless, I believe Olli is so devastated as Christian but he know he must remain strong and hide his feeling for loving Christian so much.
