My take on the genre of the current Heineken Ad (the date). It is like the Ventures meeting a full-blown orchestra and add some vocals { in Hindi to boot ). Hire a frontman for vocals who moves like Little Richard and add some go-go dancing and some twist moves. This then has the makings of a song clip that is quirky and definitely worth a look and also a replay. It will generate an opinion good or bad. Search for "Jan Pehchan Ho" on Youtube.

1. Ringo was a star in his own right well before the rest of the members even thought about it.

2. The other members of the Beatles were all fairly well convinced that Ringo was the one irreplacable member.

3. There has been several experiments, for lack of another way, where modern professional drummers have been asked to do it the way Ringo did on one song or another...and they have pretty much all of them gone, 'I have no idea how to'.

@MoonEyes2k I think the two big things about Ringo is one he was a left-handed person who played the drums like a right-handed person and two he was self taught , never took a lesson .

While Ringo isn't as awful as some of his critics say he is ( defiantly better then Pete Best ) I still wouldn't put him in the same class as Mel Taylor , Keith Moon , Ginger Baker , John Bonham , Mitch Mitchell , or even his own son Zach Starkey .

@Highpoint211 I dunno about that. I mean, Keith Moon released one solo album, Two Sides of the Moon. And the drummer on that album? Is Ringo. Keith played the drums himself on only three tracks. Zak was taught by Keith, on the behest of his father, as Ringo and Keith were good friends. Mel Taylor, I'll give you, and I won't say there aren't others. But, there's also some sort of 'point of pride' to trash Ringo, for some strange reason.
