did the gun fail to hold open with all magazines or did you try running different mags? As I've said before I'm really a novice in guns but I was wondering if a faulty mag could cause that problem.

Nice shootin! I had a Springfield that couldnt hit crap! My all time favorite is still an old Llama .45 I dont know why but it is more accurate than anything I've ever owned. Go figure.

@danman911 truth... this what my first shots with this gun. Despite price tags, your gun will only be as good as you, but not better... some can be worse, but I have not learned to outshoot my guns yet :)

Luv the Les Baer but those slide serrations are sharp enough to slice up your fingers pretty quick lol

@MrCleanerNash the slide serrations were very unique... unlike basic scraped off slides that most 1911s have. Not sure I prefer it, but it is definitely different. I was amazed at how rough the front of the pistol grip was!
