D co 2/54 1997 .I was known at Ft Benning as Robocop. Broke both heels at end of basic and spent 2 years there. Thanks to CSM Ricci I was made supply clerk
@IndirectArrows do u remeber the FTX at all? if so, i jus wanna say that the mortar pit next to that 1 guard tower, was built by myself an the other 59 guys in 2nd plt. b 2-54 feb 07. well at least the third pit lol and all the sandbags n chicken wire on the towers. was punishment for someone stealing DS Hicks bacc meds. an he was our Senior DS and SF..... smh at americas new 11bs
Anybody reading this that was in 2nd Platoon 'Renegades' C Co 2/54 after summer of 2002 tell me if the Renegade holding Bin Laden like how Sub Zero's Fatality in MK1 is still painted in the kill zone ?
I drew the original and 3 or 4 others guys and I painted it in the kill zone.
2/54 was an awesome training battalion and the carde was top notch.
Did you graduate with a PVT Justin Bishop, National Guard, from Mena, Arkansas? He was a kinda chubby, short guy, think he was like 19. He was from the last cycle...mine.
I have no problems with P.O.G.s on Sand Hill I actually think its a good thing that they will be as well trained as we are. Remember that you can't do your job without them.
When I was first coming in I remember several NCO's telling me "The two people you want to make friends with when you get to your unit are the supply guys, and finance." Remember we are a team and we need to work together to be affective.
They better not let P.O.G's on fucking Honor Hill or even watch real 11b's do the fucking bayonet or I'm turning my C.I.B., Blue Cord, and E.I.B back in.
@OIFRoberts how would we communicate w/o commo guys? how would we get around w/o armor guys? stfu with all that POG shit. Its no better than the Marines vs Army POS argument. fyi Im in this video.
Considering that there are noninfantrymen on Sand Hill now and days, basic training is nothing compared to what you'll do with your unit. You will travel farther, faster and be expected to carry more weight than any other soldier in our army and any other soldier in the world. Welcome to the Queen of Battle.
