@themanclaw2 thats the thing, it wasn't going at terminal velocity before it hit they fired everything they had at the ground the force of the backfire slowed they're fall.

Not to mention that when they hit the water, at that speed, it doesn't need to be terminal; the change in acceleration, in combination with the mass of the tank, would obliterate the tank and the people inside once they made impact.

Still so EPiC, I crack up every time!! BTW, if you like AWESOME action/adventure such as this movie, check out a show called HUMAN TARGET (if you haven't already) because the level of snarky humour + epic action is totally worth it! With two seasons already (half-sized tho, so less episodes to catch up with!) & a CHANCE of returning for a third, it's definitely a great way to pass the time until the next A-Team movie! XD

@AShoggoth Its not a Stryker, neither is it a Leopard like some people here seem to think - its a M8 AGS (Armored Gun System) Light Tank - a project that got cancelled in the mid 90s. It got chosen for the movie because it's more a tank than the Stryker while giving at least a slight plausibility to the scene because the lightest version of M8 could indeed be airdropped. As for the morons who think its a Leopard - a 60 ton L2A4 would drop to the ground like a fucking dart paraschutes or not.

Also it is not possible for the Level 3 Armour model to be deployed from C130 Hercules unlike its other two variants which can be air dropped like this.
