I just got one of these that is the bind and fly model and love it. I've noticed that if you shut off the ACT it climbs a little better and loops a lot easier.
i got the same aircraft. the Z-foam is tough and easy to rapir. all you need is packing tape. but even the slightest wind will get ahold of mine and just take it along. also, mine stalls out way too easy and ive had some pretty bad nose dives. my battery socket in mine is starting to fall out of the plane. ill just tape it up.
These Super cubs are very strong. Mine was in a mid air collision yesterday with a balsa built warbird that hit me at a fast speed. The warbird hit my supercub and damaged my wing and broke of the tail and elevator. My super cub did spiral down from about 150 feet, and it looked bad, however, a trip to the hobbystore to buy a few cheap parts, the cub was repaired in a few hours. The other guy's plane, which he said was about $300, was shredded to bits.
me and my brother did the same exact thing! my wing broke in 4 diff places..hot glue gun does wonders,,tails broken off 4 times elevators broke in half-engines broke off everything that could has..hot glue
there actually not that slow, well the top speed is high, you just gotta keep the throttle down. top speed on this thing is cursed, the plane just goes all over the place. one time i was havin trouble controlling it and flew it right into this poor guys hip. didnt hurt him though.

who said "it doesn't climb well"? lol I have the old super cub and I put a lip battery and it breaches the cloud cover on every flight!

Yeah. The foamies are robust.
I like the way they get stuck together and spiral down like insects mating... :-)

Not too wise to fly over each others head. Wouldn't be too cool to hit the little girl.

That is so cool. They just collide and twirl down to the ground.

nice! good thing super cubs are slow and almost indestructible

That depends on what Super Cub you have. I think a big balsa scale model wouldn't be so indestructable...
