If you can't see Atract 3 on the list. Copy the Atract 3 install files to the Goldwave directory and rename the inf file to dll file.

alright mate, great work, and great instructions. i have followed these and made my boot sounds succesfully however when it comes to the xmb it just freezes? it hasnt bricked it just freezes, so i put the old one back on, any explanation? a thing i noticed aswell is with the codec you used mine was 44 somthing instead of 105? great work though i have a video of what happens liek when the xmb freezes i can upload for you?

u have to go through recovery menu turn all the way off then turn on and hold R (thats if u have custom firmware) then go to advance then flash0 with the usb cord pluged in

another noob question, where can i see the module folder? and what do i do to unhide system file? i do have the opening_plugin.prx but when i plug my usb to my psp and the only folders that im showing are the following:

MUSIC

PICTURE

PSP

VIDEO

theres no system file folder so im confused where can i paste the opening_plugin.prx

This is because you're supposed to put the prx in flash0. You're in the memory stick.

Turn off your PSP by holding the power button for about 7 seconds until it is fully off, then hold down the R button and turn it on again to go to recovery mode. On the menu go to advanced and enable USB for flash0 and then connect your PSP to your PC. Then you will have a completely different layout from the memory stick. Just go to vsh/module and and you will find where you put the prx.

the crack is on the rar file. it's in the pack already. just open it and click register on options menu and open the crack and type the serial or something like that.

and then you have a codec of ATRAC3

I'll save you 20 minutes of frustration, copy the contents of the atrac3 folder to the GoldWave program files directory and run it, then restart GoldWave and tada, the option for atrac3 shows up at the bottom of the save selection as format list. Edit the video description to add this info please.
