Both of these super talented men left an unforgettable mark on a band that STILL leaves its mark today and others can only imitate. So, here's to you, Cliff for helping start the magic of Metallica. jason fit in more during the justice and black album phase, but cliff was better for the kill em all lightning and puppets phase. jason was a perfect fit when metallica started to change their music a bit but i couldnt be happier with metalica. i mean if cliff wouldnt have died things might have been different. maybe metallica would have stayed heavy heavy for ever. but you cant dwell on what you cant change. i still love metallica with everything.
