great tips but remember not to defrag an ssd. An ssd fragmenting has no negative effect on speed but defragging an ssd has a negative effect on the life of your ssd. Keep that in mind

ahh i love when poeple at school say, ugh i did system recovery and lost all my files, then i laugh at them and say, "Its called a 32gb flash drive and the abilty to drag and drop" If you have more then 32gb of documents, pictures, music, videos, etc. You really dont need that much. XD.

I have been through the no back-system but in a weired way.

I backed up most of my things like my documents and program setups so I don't have to suck bandwith when I restore but I never backup my truecrypt volume which had all my product keys.

Trust me. Back up almost anything.

It ain't pretty to lose important data.

If anyone you know has the same manufacturer for your computer with the same os then you can borrow their's then use the activation key you got with the install disc.

If you lost that too then download a program called siw (system information for Windows) so then you can grab your product key and write it onto a peice of paper.

I use Carbonite. It does live offsite backups all the time. There's a lot of features it doesn't have, but it's cheap. It's a great supplement to ordinary backups, but probably not a good replacement for regular backups.

the computer runs fine but i still dont want the erros and i think this happened because i changed something in the bios setup. can anyone help me?

Did you have some sort of power outage? Did you just install it and what is the type of HDD (brand)?

When in bios, you should see something like "enable Hard drive S.M.A.R.T function". Enable that. The first error is kind of weird o.O But, if you're going into bios, you might as well disable the "display errors" function.
