  • what happens when you have a fraction witha mixe number like this.

    2 3/5 - 1/2

    ???

  • @kissy52808 find the LCD, like I show in the video, then bring down your 2 for an answer of 2 and 1/10

  • Please answer. :( My difference was 3 4/9 but the choices are 4 2/9, 3 7/9, 4 7/9, and 4 2/6. Please help. =(

  • What happened to the one you borrowed from five? I ask because you added 10 plus fifteen and got 25 and the proceeded to subtract 12 from 25? Was this an oversight on your part? Or did I miss something?

  • simply put.....

thanks man i luv u oh yah kickass um hum damn i need a life:)

  • @Chizboy101 Funny

  • For METHOD 2 (when taking whole numbers and changing them into mixed number), for the last step, I don't get how you were able to just subtract the numerators (85 - 57) and not subtract the denominators (3 - 5, which obviously you can't) but instead of that, you multiplied them? WTF? LOL. Besides that, great vid. I feel young again!

  • @Brock10000000 well, it is very hard to explain via email. My suggestion would be to keep watching over and over and it should click... :)

  • Cant you just multiply the denominator n you would get 15 n than you take the whole number and multiply it by the numorator for both fractions n you would get the exact answer as yours isnt that much easier

  • faster method is easier

  • Thank you my teacher when my teacher explains it I don't get it!
