He what the characters would look like after ten years designs (including Kuririn and Vegeta and his mustache). He left it up to Toei to do the rest. Goku being a kid again was something he wishes would happen so Toei did that and he loved it.

I love this song! And the Zard version is also great. I really hope they release a Dragon Ball GT Dragon Box in America. I would definitely buy it. I think Dragon Ball GT music is a bit better than Dragon Ball Z. I like both but more GT.
@emmeg516 toriyMa did not help with the story. He designed the main characters includint vegetas mustache. He came up with the title and designed its logo. He did a few images as well as designing robots planets and landscaping

@AizensPlan Because Uub and Goku have been training for over five years. Most of the characters such as Yamcha, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu have retired. Akira planned DBGT. He what the characters would look like after ten years designs (including Kuririn and Vegeta and his mustache). He left it up to Toei to do the rest. Goku being a kid again was something he wishes would happen so Toei did that and he loved it.

I wouldn't be surprised if he thought that the word "canon" pertained only to scripture and literature. DBGT is a sequel to the animated Dragon Ball.. But it's not THE sequel; same for DBO. The game's past is definitely the manga, but the manga's future doesn't necessarily have to be the game. DBO is not an animated film; thus, it can't replace DBGT.

Essentially, saying the history of DBO is exactly like the manga is not the same as saying the future of the manga is exactly like DBO. Canonization is not a two-way street. So you're wrong. It can't replace DBGT.

DBO's plot has completely been though up by Toriyama and he made it exactly as he envisioned. There are no separate sequels for anime and manga, DBZ anime and manga is the same story. DBGT is just an anime spin off that didn't turn out very well.
