  • Hearing this, makes me go and like every single comment here.

  • do you have any of the new music for the lost archive? Thanks

  • Revolution...

  • AWH! i LOVE this song, makes me feel like an Assassin! Muahahaa!! Victoria Agli Assassini!!!

  • "The earth shook for days. The fires burned for weeks. And when the ash had settled, less than ten thousand of your kind still lived..and far fewer of ours. But we carried on, together. To rebuild. To renew. Listen. You must go there. To the place where we labored...labored and lost. Take my words. Pass them from your head into your hands. That is how you will open the way. But be warned: much still remains in flux. And I do not know how things will end - either in my time or yours."

  • advertisement in middle of video. *Middle finger*

  • LONG LIVE THE ASSASSINS, LONG LIVE LIBERTY AND FREEDOM, LONG LIVE AC!!! This series is legend. Be patient subject 16, your time will come. On febuary 28th everybody will know the sacrifices you made. NEW DLC FEB.28TH THE LOST ARCHIVE!! xD

  • AC !!!!

  • This is more like Mass effect 2 end run second version.and what is it, if you link two epic games ? the epicness in the gaming scene ^^

  • YES! Finally found it! Best music in the whole game, and the cutscene...omg

  • I think this is what Altair saw, dear lord it must be have horrified him.

  • listening to this soundtrack and seeing the boxart of both Ezio and Altair is just too much to handle.

  • that cutscene & this music were so epic

that my mind was blocked for nearly 10 mins without doing anything but staring at my monitor

  • Well Mr. Miles its been a long road but I think you've more than earned your place on the cover of 2012's AC game

  • @Adamgontierfan19 'Bout damn time.

  • @Adamgontierfan19 maybe Assasin's Creed IV

  • best composition ever...very moving..love it

  • @0hereitis Hans Zimmer was tangentially involved with the ACR soundtrack. He was part of the panel for casting the girl who sings the main theme. They recorded in his studio.

  • @theredm35 Really? That's sick bro!! Thanks for telling me this :) and in random news, Hans Zimmer composed the score for MW2. Oh, and in more random news, the beginning of this song has a small part that sounds like Inception (or the song Mind Heist, whichever one). :D

  • There wasn't an ounce of my being that was not shivering during this, including my penis. ;)

  • Wtf is this skyrim shit I keep seeing it on AC vids?

  • Requiescat in pace, Ezio. Your story will not be forgotten.

  • Beginning is very Inceptiony

  • @brownmanofcanada

and middle is very Mass Effecty

  • This is just so beautiful... I can't get enough!

  • FINALLY.

I found the track I was looking for <3

  • thumbs those who believe in the hope of life

  • if the 2012 dooms day thing is real

im playing this song before i die

  • @0hereitis First: Lorne Balfe worked many times with Hans Zimmer, don't know if he helped him with Inception too (OFF TOPIC: overrated movie IMO and the music could have been better but Christopher Nolan wanted this time to edit with the music, wich is a wrong way because Hans Zimmer and his partners ALWAYS do the opposite. The Dark Knight for example did it right).

Second: Yeah, this is WAY BETTER. You are totally right!

Third: Sorry for my english if there was some bad grammer. :P

  • lorne balfe: next bruce falconer

god he wouldve made new animes more epic.

  • Incredible.. just incredible

  • i love assassin's creed because it is unique. you have to think when playing this. not just shoot everything. it is different to all the others. amazing

  • this sounds so inception like, it is something hans zimmer would have made.

  • I feel like this song is just all of the horrible, sad, epic moments of the series so far slammed together into one intense, emotional piece.

  • I FEEL ALL THE PAIN OF MANKIND

  • Best music of the game

  • Thinking on Assassin's Creed III always gives me chills. Thinking about how Desmond will become the chosen one or bollocks like that, how the Templars must fall, how Warren will die, how Shaun and Rebecca must have a relationship.

God. I love this game. I love this series. I love this story. I love this FEELING.

  • Ha. At the beginning of this clip an ad for Reebok was displayed - I initially thought it looked like an ad for Abstergo.

  • @ajqd117 abstergo in this world is the Freemasons (Illuminati)

isnt it a coincidence that they BOTH originated from knights templars

  • @ajqd117 It's no coincidence if u investigate the company he

  • This was the best one of the whole game

  • I cried at this scene.

    And I'm a guy.

    Mantears.

  • @DeathIsMySalvation You're not the only one dude :C

  • When it kicks in at 0:40, I always can't help but think, "No, no! Stop, make it stop!" That moment when the solar flare caused everything to collapse makes my heart so heavy. I don't know how the First Civilization will be further portrayed, but as I feel pity for Desmond, Ezio and Altair and the rest of the Assassins working to prevent another End of the World, I feel pity for Those Who Came Before as well. Lorne Balfe, you're pulling at my heartstrings.

  • assassins creed has the best soundtracks

  • @AsianFists Deus Ex: HR opening credits puts the game to shame

  • Sooo...pretty sure this is one of the most epic songs ever written.

  • Comment removed

  • when i saw that baby die... my humanity came out.. haha I felt so bad

  • My GAWD!! This reminds me of the end of time....

  • God, Lorne Balfe is amazing

  • Fuck skyrim, Fuck mw, Fuck bf! Only seeing this pic and hearing the music makes me think im in other world fighting for freedom.

  • @misterossi99 Now bring that imagination from the other world to our real life.... i say fictional characters make me a better person, like Altair and Ezio.

  • @misterossi99 MW & BF had Crap soundtrack in 2011

Skyrim and ACR had the best soundtracks in 2011!

  • @misterossi99 Fighting for freedom. I think we have a good opportunity right now...don't we ?. Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

January 19th, the day when Megaupload ceased to exist.

  • @misterossi99 Hell fucking yeah.

  • @misterossi99 its not about fighting for freedom its about extinction!

  • @songokumone and is about a new life man

  • @7maic of course the end of a civilization and the beginning of a new one, the circle of life!

  • @misterossi99 Cant argue song is good but story is hell of confusing with 70% filler. Do you really need 5 games to tell a story? Try Deus Ex Human Revolution

  • @snowman2009 agreed :)

  • @misterossi99 Wow, fuck you then, what gamer only likes one game, fuck you sir

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that plays when Ezio sails for Cappadoccia?

  • @martinzalle It's called An Unsubtle Approach. ;)

  • I wished the end-of-the-world cutscene would have been the first Assassin's Creed III trailer >:l

    It would have been epic,

  • This piece of music genuinely gives me goosebumps. Whether that's just from thinking of where in the game it comes in or not, it's a truly beautiful track. Oooh, there goes another shiver.

  • My hair flies back from the awesomeness at 0:40, like a fucking roller coaster

  • Comment removed

  • @hardy16able there is a short video called Assassin's Creed Embers, its tells of what happens to Ezio when he is retired from being an assassin.

  • its difficult to say altiars full name. :/

  • 1:38 i can hear the baby crying every time...

  • @war0100 haha me too man

  • @war0100 believe it or not, me too...

  • Reminds me of Crypton

  • This is incredible. There has been many amazing cut scenes in video game history. But in my humble opinion. This will one will go down as one of the BEST. I swear Hans Zimmer must have touched this track because it's phenomenal. Requiscat In pace Altair and Ezio.

  • @ISetYourFaceOnFire Pretty sure Lorne Balfe composed this one, which would explain the Hans-esque feel to it (Hans and Lorne work together on a lot of stuff).

  • @TheMrwouldyourather yeah, many tracks in the game sound like something Hans Zimmer would compose, and that's really nice

  • Amazing

  • This cutscene blew me away. It was absolutely breath-taking. But the part that got to me the most was watching that mother holding her child close, as massive flames came and engulfed them both.

  • @JosephChrist863 That was terrible... Seeing everyone run, fall, die like that was like... well, let's just say it nearly made me cry :'(

  • @Safiyahalishah i think everyone felt the same who have soul

  • @war0100 Right XD

  • better than ezio's family OST

  • @MrRandomguy781 no way,ezios family is SUPREME!

  • why am I strangely reminded of Mass Effect? oh, right: watch?v=VTsD2FjmLsw

  • 2012, gonna listen to this

  • i gonna listen to this song in december 2012 while watch the world falls apart!!!

  • the best track for me! the track used in the final video...

  • ACI

    ACII

    ACII 2.5

    ACII 2.75

    ACIII

  • @djedai7 ACB is 2.1 and ACR 2.2 lol, theyre like chapters or listed as in a table of contents

  • Damn..This is the most 'epic' AC OST I've ever heard.

    Great work.

  • Lol when I put on the desmond outfit during main gameplay, this guard stopped and looked at me for like 5 seconds then attacked me, I was like wtf !

  • i like that when you play as altair you get to use dual hidden blades. i've only jsut got the thrid key so i'm not even that far in the game.

  • If the end of the world occurs doing our life time, I want this to play in the background

  • i almost cried at this part when the baby died i was lik, noooooooo

  • im sad that we cant play as altair or ezio anymore, yet i am glad that they have done their part in this story, and look forward to wat desmond does.

  • God I love this game.

  • Went so well with the death montage scene

  • Comment removed

  • This is music you want to die to after you've succeeded in running epically to save the people you love.

  • Comment removed

  • i miss ezio already!!! AC is never gonna be the same again without him..

  • i have seen the revelation and all that is left to do is to save the world in AC 5

  • @fiercekid84 You mean AC 3. Brotherhood and Revelations don't count as 3 or 4.

  • @WAP2319 Jesus, don't start this pish again...

I like to think of them as stand-alone games. Enough said.

After all, they continue the story.

  • @naedanger123 If we're numbering them, then technically it's "Assassin's Creed 4." With 3 being 5. Or Revelations is "Assassin's Creed II-3", with Brotherhood being II-2.

My brain hurts. Type out the full name people, and be done with it.

it duznt hrt u 2 typ lol.

  • @TheVerisimilitude Yeah, something like that. :D

  • @WAP2319 im afraid not, you see when ac 1 finished there was one for psp called bloodlines it would have been called 2 but for some reason ubisoft and its developers decided to prospone 3 and 2 at its time so it can be like a 1.5 kinda think. but when ac2 came out brotherhood is known as ac 2.5 and revelations 2.9 i think idk but thats how it works

  • @ninjagaidenfreak08 It kind of has to be on the main systems like PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 to be an official title like 2, Brotherhood or Revelations.

  • @WAP2319 i guess so but you kinda get what im saying

  • @WAP2319 you know I always wonder about that. why isn't there a number for those 2 games?

  • @fife007 Well I can't really explain it in detail, but they're just not official 2's or 3's, you know.. But they're every bit as important as them, at least in Assassin's Creed's situation

  • @WAP2319 It's not so complicated. Think of Brotherhood and Revelations as expansions to the 2nd game. Basically, it's like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Shadow of Chernobyl was the first game, but they don't call Clear Sky 2nd or Call of Pripyat 3rd - they're expansions, added additional concept, storyline and improved. Same with AC 2 games.

  • @DarKNesS7026 I know that. :l That's what I've been trying to tell people.

  • if they finish desmond's story in ac 3...they should put a fight which u will have desmond as the ultimate assassin and by the power of apple having altair and ezio on your side xD :P

  • The games are awesome, but they would be nothing without the music, it's incredible

  • Hmm...this is the most lively track I've heard so far and yet it has some of the fewest views. Totally underrated.

  • I'm beginning to think of Altair as AC's Nostradamus...

  • The Earth shook for days. The fires burned for weeks. And when the ash had settled, less than ten thousand of your kind still lived... and far fewer of ours. But we carried on, together. To rebuild. To renew. Listen. You must go there. To the place where we labored... labored and lost. Take my words. Pass them from your head into your hands. That is how you will open the way. But be warned: much still remains in flux. And I do not know how things will end - either in my time or yours.

  • .....when they made the title "Assassin's Creed Revelations", they really meant it.....

  • which song of the soundtrack is the part when desmond is about to be deleted from the animus island?

  • @CrisSpartan Scheduled for Deletion /watch?v=vYpIqx6eLyY

  • @CrisSpartan It's called Scheduled For Deletion and it is only about 1:00 minute long and I wasted a dollar on iTunes last night to get it, it's good but not worth a dollar

  • @charjackable LOL you actually buy songs?

  • @iamthebomb17 only if they are awesome game soundtracks like gears of war 3, Assassins's Creed Revelations, so some times I do

  • @charjackable Oh, that's true. I like supporting artists too (not with all albums, just some)

  • R.I.P Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad

    R.I.P Ezio Auditore da Firenze

BTW this song is really epic

  • @thosalproductions you know what happens to ezio?

  • @hardy16able well, when ezio found that disc he is retiring from being an assassin and goes home to his family. he dies there at 70 years old(i think) and he dies hapily

from what happens to altair, he dies at 90 years old, alone and in the dark.

maybe this helped you out :)

  • @thosalproductions yeah, thank you, ive played revelations as well and I saw what happens to altaïr, but I didnt know the destiny of ezio, his story in the game ends when he stands in the "library", so thank you for this background information =)

  • @hardy16able Look up Assassins Creed Embers, it can be found here on youtube, its a 20 minute short from ubiworkshop showing Ezio's final days...It's amazing but to be honest I'm disappointed they didn't leave it for a future game to be played such as they did with Altairs final days in Revelations.

  • @23Jarek23 oh, yes, good tip I just watched it and I think this story is not very interessting any more, he kills a few enemies very well and I find it really good done that the fights are as animated as in the computergame, but ezio hasnt really much to do and I think it could be a little bit boring to relive this story

  • One word........"EPIC"

  • This has a Hans Zimmer ring to it...

  • whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • goose bumps!!!!!!

  • Wish you could cut out the first 20 seconds it feels like they're holding you back from what is a great piece

  • WAH! This music with that scene! :O I actually cried!

  • beautiful song. it just has so much passion and brings so much emotion. now thats what a true song should sound like

  • Comment removed

  • Argueably one of jesper kyds best song if not his best... Or is this one lorne balfe?

  • @roodypatooty lorne balfe, as with the vast majority of the ost, especially the whole of cd 3, about 50% of cd 2 and a little less than that on cd 1

  • holly shit we are soo fucked next year!

  • @fife007 because AC will end next year? :(

  • @gmk120 No, after AC III, they say they're going to keep going. It's just that AC III will end Desmonds part in the story.

  • @Howler452 Which will be sad. In all honesty even though Desmond had little screen time, I will miss him.

  • @Howler452 well... whatever, this was the first story, and no one will beat this one :S

  • @fife007 That was not 2012, infact, that was the Past, when "The ones who were Before"

    Were keeping mankind togheter.

What will happen in 2012 though... we will find out in 2012! (Sorry if this spoiled ya)

  • Earth pressed the dislike button...

  • The music is so epic, but so sad at the same time. A great and powerful civilization lost to a brutal cosmic force...

  • I always get chills when the baby's cry is suddenly silenced and then just echoes on a dead Earth

  • Wow just wow

  • Just a Really Beautiful Song. :')

  • Chills

  • The Truth....this is what Altair saw when he was using the Apple.....My God.....That must have been terrifying

  • @blazinblue777 Yeah... you're right, I think he went a little bit insane after seeing it

  • Lorne balfe and jesper kyd do an amazing job !

  • Definitely an amazing piece of sound, I just wish I could find that other one. It played earlier on during the barricades and rooftop assassinations sequence "den defense"

  • Oh, God, that cutscene was sad. I lost it when those people fell into the fire.

  • This is epic. Reminds me of the Suicide mission track from Mass Effect 2

  • One of the best from the entire soundtrack

  • The music from the ones who came before !!

  • ....this is epic...
