Hi Garry! Just started watching your video's, and noticed there's no "building a home studio part 2". Have you given that specific video a different name? I think your video's are great. Thanks for your time in uploading them. I'm about to start building my own studio but I want to do a proper job. Your video's are very helpful. Again Thank You for your time spent to help others . George
I think they're calls a flanged bit, or spade bit? I find it's best to use them first, and then drill the main hole afterwards otherwise you end up with it it vibrating like crazy.
Studio is looking really good, can't wait for the guided tour of the finished thing.
treat yourself to a new drill garry i just got a chuck-less cordless spinny thingy and it halves the hassel...the last thing you need is headaches..no looking for the chuck ..quick release of the bit, no wires, no fuss, no looking back ..trust me.everything in our house has been tightened, pictures have gone up door handles bathroom locks the lot.
@scuberdave funny you should say that dave I was just looking at some yesterday, I think its time I upgraded from my 1958 blackndecker and my 1990 bosch,as that chuck key searching palaver gets worse the older you get:)
Every project has a why-did-I-start-this moment. Sometimes, for me, that moment only lasts for about 98% of the project. You are going well there, you'll soon be able to stop rocking in the corner.
