Agree with SuperBill1975 that the melody is 100% from Georges Bizet 's Je crois entendre encore, and the instrumentation is very typical Yann Tiersen's Rue des cascades. Even the singing style of Emma Pask is very similar to the vocal style of Rue des cascades too.

I'd also like to point out that the melody was adapted from a very old and famous piece of music by Georges Bizet: Je crois entendre encore (from Les Pêcheurs de Perles). However the lyric is new and our melody is in Waltz time or 3/4 time unlike the original opera. This gives it a very lyrical feeling...

Actually the song was written by me. I asked the wonderful Emma Pask to sing on it and the whole music track was performed live in the studio in Singapore. i.e. Grand Piano, Harpsichord, Dbl Bass, Accordion and Violin. Emma's vocal was recorded in our Sydney Studio following this session.
