Loved her book -- nothing self-righteous or guilt-inducing (the sort of thing that ignorant non-activists like me think of activists). She consistently questions herself, her motives, and her actions...and she does it with a sense of humor.

An intelligent and beautiful person. She obviously has a firm grasp on reality. I have video of her speaking in San Rafael about apartheid South Africa, but the quality is poor and I missed the best part of her speech when I was changing @#%#! video cards. Maybe I should post it.

Inspiring and, as Marisa comments, empowering for each of us. Listening to Marisa makes me feel that I have helped, and makes me understand how much more I can and must do.
