  • @MrDoommetal666 Off microphone? How? After the show, grab the pornstars and tell them politely to take their inflated tits and leave? Oh please. I admire Tori, even though I am not a huge fan, for being brazen and telling it like it is. If it had been a man, you'd approve of it, I am sure.

  • @MrDoommetal666 Go to hell, for calling Tori a bitch, jackass!

  • she needs to cool down maybe drink some GINGER ale!

  • This is what I don't get...people buy expensive tickets to be within the first few rows of a show...any show at that...then they bust out their cell phones and start talking...This is stupidity at it's finest.

  • I also don't think it was the best reaction, of course, but we don't really know what happened. It seems like those girls would never stop talking. And we all know that touring people stay under pressure, right?

  • @MrDoommetal666 she spent basically 40 years perfecting her talent, and after a lifetime woking to do this she looks down and is being ignored in a theater full of people who want to be closer and a part of what you do, they should be glad she didn't pull an Axl and do a full on flailing belly flop into the crowd.

  • I don't blame her, touring is hard, 99% of the people there are there for her, those

people called out must have distracted her , playing two piano,s and singing-

that's hard enough, good for Tori-------

  • Just because you paid doesn't give you the right to do whatever the fuck you want. Anyone who pulls out the "they paid" excuse is probably the sort of shithead who pulls out their phone during a movie, talks loudly, etc. "I paid to be here!" You know what? Everyone else did, too. You're not so important that you can't stay off the damn phone for a couple hours. If you were, you'd have left.

  • A lot of people think they paid tons of money to sit in the front row, but they didn't. The front row are her seats and she upgraded them from their nose bleed seats and personally gave them to those girls. So, actually, if they were acting like ass-holes she does have the right to throw them out. There are theaters with 0 tolerance policies for cell phones (which these girls were on for most of the show) and they get thrown out too. Oh fucking well.

  • It appears they were talking constantly and she got tired of it. Basically, it was just being disrespectful to the artist. I'm sure the people sitting close to these girls might have been annoyed by their chattering and thrilled that this happened. IMO, they deserved it. If it was a quick call, I doubt Tori would have done that.

  • Starts around 2:25--in case you want to skip right to the "get the fuck out" part.

  • To err is human, to love divine, to piss Tori off...well, that's a huge mistake.

  • She is just wonderful! And those should really get the fuck out of her show!!!

  • What did they do to be kicked out? Talk, or..?

  • Tori is a brilliant musician....really(!), but her behavior was so base. I am shocked by her "common" behavior, not impressed w/ her gutsiness. You are supposed to be BETTER than what you don't like, and if disrespect is wrong for some, then it's wrong for all.

  • I can't really tell, but after she finishes with the "Get the fuck out," does she look out at the audience and give the finger?

  • "Get the fuck out of my show!" Ha ha ha. I love it! Go Tori!

  • listen to Nuances Nothing else matters (metallica cover)

  • She kicked out 2 obnoxious porn stars. Big loss.

  • You can see this as Tori being rude to 2 people, or Tori being considerate of the 100s of other people who, you know, actually wanted to watch/enjoy the show and were trying to pay attention.

  • It's funny how the people that are posting hateful shit on here are people with names like "GodHatesPortugal" and "TheAngelButcher"... dumb fucks

  • @ipflako No, not surprising at all. assholes will be assholes after all.

  • @theangelbutcher "what a pretentious cunt. i hate this dyke and her fans geez"

Why are you torturing yourself by viewing this video?

Maybe you'd be more comfortable listening to something you'd understand and chatting with "fans" that are as cool as you are.

We're all "lonely fat girls " & "closet lesbians" here :) you needn't concern yourself with our empowering "drivel".

  • To this day, I still find it so funny that following the incident, the lyrics were "some say that I will and some say I won't. victory is an elusive whore" near perfect.

    gosh, I miss 2007!

  • They just got Tori'd.

  • Actually, the girls were *mistakenly* given front row seats reserved for FANS. Turns out the girl is a nude model, and that's really the reason Smitty gave her the tix. They were on their phones-talking, texting the entire show. T stood up for her fans, and the people around her. Whether or not the seats were paid for, doesn't mean you have to accept disrespect. Simply put, T wasn't accepting it anymore.

  • I fucking LOVE Tori!!!

  • I don't blame Tori for kicking those *biotches* out! I'm not trying to make a comparisson but...I hate it when I go see a movie and I have nothing but rude a-holes sitting right behind me, gabbing throughout the entire movie. wtf is up w/ that? and why don't *they* get kicked out? Maybe the next time I go see a movie, I'll bring Tori w/ me and she can tell them: "get the fuck out of this theatre!" LOL!!!

  • @LuvMyGr8DaneGuinness

I once elbowed an insecure homophobe in the face because he wouldn't stop harassing me at a Jonny Lang show.

  • Tori actually cares about her fans, and when they are being rude, that's betraying the goddess!

  • Go Tori! Woo!

  • There are times when using a cellphone is totally inappropriate. I'm glad Tori kicked those rude twats out of the building! I'm also glad they lost their money on the tickets too.

  • You heard what she said right?? ITS A PRIVLEDGE and u all remember that when u go see OUR TORI!!!!

  • Her label reportedly responded with a statement, saying, Tori doesnt sell front row seats to her shows. Shell pick fans that are in the back row and she will upgrade them. It is a privilege to get picked. Apparently these two girls were on their cell phones all night. ... It was her sticking up for her other fans that missed out on the opportunity."

  • Tori backs up her real fans. I love you girl!

  • I've been a fan of Tori since 1992, I've seen her play 6 times, but never gotten close to the front row, I'd have given anything to be that close, why would anyone sit talking on a phone? in a cinema they'd be told to leave, Tori was absolutely right to tell them to leave. Fuck them, no respect for Tori, her band or the fans that want to hear her sing without listening to an arsehole blabbing

  • Exactly. Why do you think one of the reason's the Beatles stopped touring? fans weren't going there to actualy hear them play, they were there just scream, faint, have riots, etc. Be rowdy. sometimes i wonder what wouldve happened if Lennon actualy got pissed off enough to say something about it. He was always outspoken anyway,

But back to Tori, everyone has thier limits, its nothing new. Roger Waters even spit on a fan during the "Animals" tour in 1978.

  • Sometimes i wonder if there wasnt something else they were doing with those cellphones like recording or taking pics which is strictly forbidden.

  • Comment removed

  • maybe THEY were the ones who needed to STFU; Talking on cellphones or loud blabbing was the reason

    Buying a ticket doesnt give you the right to bother other people around you;

I went to a Bat for Lashes concert where a pack of idiots at front were blabbing, hooting football cheers, cell phones, acting like they were at home in front of the TV- until about 12 of us near in unison screamed STFU!-they were INSULTED!!!

They felt they had a RIGHT to disrupt Natashas playing and our listening to it!

  • ...what you stole I would have given freely...code red, starting at me....

  • That's awesome she did that. I saw her live in WPB, I had the good fortune of having front row seats. It was pretty cool to see her that close. I left my cell phone in the car.

    Good on ya Tori.

  • This is available on the Legs and Boots live recording from San Diego 12/12/2007 - and the quality is awesome! You hear her mic in the recording and not just the fans.

  • You may be right but that doesn't negate my point. Maybe give it time? If not, nice hearing from you

  • Are you kidding! This is one of the sexiest things I have ever seen! Get those bitches out and let the band play Tori, then face the curtain. Pure class people, pure class!

  • go tori go tori whoop whoop (get the fuck out of mi show)

  • Such a lady!!!!

  • sexy! ill be seeing you tori on july 28th in Orlando!!! tell it how it is ;]

  • I work at a liquor store and if someone is being a deuschbag I tell them to get the fuck out of the store, what's the difference? Tori can kick out whoever she damn well pleases, rock on

  • In her own words:

"There were some girls who were given front-row seats as a courtesy and then were incredibly rude. One was on the phone, and even I could hear her -- I mean, it was during a ballad. And I saw that everybody around her was being held hostage. You just think, "You've got to get taught a lesson. So I said, "Get the fuck out of my show.""

  • good for her!! for her to go to that extreme and kick someone out of her show (regardess of how much is paid for the ticket), that person had to have been a complete nuisance. not only a distraction for her to perform, but for the fellow fans who paid just as much for their own tickets! tori ......... i love you!!!!!!!

  • Classic!

  • That was badass!

  • were those girls being really loud? or were they taking pictures. they must have been really loud if it was distracting tori??

  • This is happening far too often at gigs these days. Does not matter who you go and see. I pay to see AND hear the artist in question not some noisey twat in front of me. We need to stop this and Tori has my full support!!

  • Get the fuck out of my comments.

  • I love Tori's music, and was happy to be in the fifth row. If they weren't taking advantage of their seats-see ya!!

  • tori amos is genious

  • those beeyatches were being annoying, i would have done the same thing.

  • What you want to have the right to act like a total douche bag at her concert? No wonder America is going down the tubes!

  • Pretend you are back in highschool. A teacher is trying to teach. There is a roudy student who is disturbing the whole class. The teacher kicks that person out.

Same thing here, expect its a theater audience and Tori is the teacher.

  • I like your comment...Tori is in a lot of ways my teacher in life...

  • good, get the fuck out. We don't want jerks like u at her shows.

  • What was "the woman" doing?

  • i think she was talking and standing and walking around and stuff and she was in the front row and tori got upset about that. soo funny xD

  • Qdrum803,that's not true that the fact that these girls paid for the show allows them behave as they wish.If you are a waitress and a client is rude to you you have full right to smack him even if he had paid for service. There are rules to obey.If they don't respect Tori she won't respect them. The money paid has nothing to do with that.

  • Totally agree. Money doesn't buy you the right to disrespect people.

  • @paininmyhole Well said, pain. There is a time and a place for mobile phones, and this was neither. Although part of me feels sorry for them, they should know better. than to disrupt the show in that way.

  • @paininmyhole EXACTLY! And the front row are Tori's seats. She GIVES THEM AWAY so they didn't pay for shit! Not only did they get FREE FRONT ROW TICKETS they were being disrespectful. Fuck that. Get the fuck out of the show is right!

  • Comment removed

  • @paininmyhole The fact is they didnt pay for those seats..The front rows are GIVEN to them by Toris staff.

  • @paininmyhole I don't agree that a waitress or any1 else for that mater has the right to "smack" any1 for por verbal treatment. I do agree that Tori reserves the right to eject any "undeserving" or "disruptive" persons from her show -- as long as she refunds their money.

  • Thanks for posting and linking up to the article via Undented. I understand now :)

  • get your spelling right

  • I meant "play"... as you spelt it "paly" :P

  • oh shit i missed that.

  • Which is why you're a poor speller.

  • k, she can kick ass.... why need a body gard??

  • wow, she speaks her mind.lol

  • GTFO BITCHES!!!

  • tori is a piece of lemon. i love her.

  • She kicked them out because they were taking pictures, or videotaping, or talking on their cell phones, or coming and going, or not paying attention, or peeing on the floor. Good for her!

  • It's completely alright to only like early or late or whatever work by any artist/band. I'm sure Tori is ok with fans of only her early work too. But you must also accept that artists don't want to nor can they make same kinds of albums forever.

Just my small take on this.

  • The drummer is sexy! Probally straight...

  • YES!!!

  • Try listening to the lyrics from this song. Amos performs as close to the edge as any performer. "Who feels it, knows it."

  • your the fuckin anus loonmaniac

  • hey were u there

    lol get the fuck out

  • jd- They didn't get kicked out for talking. They got kicked out because they took seats that WERE NOT THEIRS!!!! Therefore, they don't deserve to stay. That is rude and unacceptable, especially in the theatre. That isn't disrespect from Tori, that is discipline. By the way, she dropped her record label because she has such a supportive fan base that she can make it on her own. Have you met her?Watched interviews? She is anything but narcissistic. She cares about people and has done great things.

  • Hmmm...The online article I read stated that Tori was pissed because they kept getting up, especialy when she was talking.

  • And people who were their stated that they took seats that weren't theirs. Either way, she would have a good reason to kick someone out.

  • From Joshua Review on undented :

"Two Girls in the audience had been going in and out all nite they were totally distracting and rude, during the middle of the song, tori stops and says," Get the fuck out of my show!" she explained," it's a privilege to sit in the front row and i reserve those seats for people who appreciate music, get the fuck out!"

This is the version that the media is reporting, not that they stole seats. I'm just saying that this is the official story.

  • Interesting. People were doing that a lot htis tour. : ( So they deserved to get kicked out, especially doing that with front seats.

  • She's going at it alone anyway...where have you been... a cave or in primary school?

  • Surely, you don't know anything about Tori Amos or what great music really is.

  • I was a big Tori fan back in the 90's when her music was good. I became disenchanted after Choirgirl. The last CD I bought was 'To Venus And Back' and even then I only liked a couple of songs. It's a big disappointment from her early work where EVERY song was awesome. Tori's changed, face it.

  • It would be boring if she stayed the same. Besides, To Venus and Back was an experimetnal album, and her voice was more beautiful than never, mixed with those electro sounds. And let's not forget the astounding live cd.

  • Let me put it like this: I used to be a huge Anne Rice fan until she decided to give up writing about vamps/witches and the like. Same with Tori, she stopped creating that which made her special in my opinion. Just as with Ann Rice, I'm still a fan of Tori's early work, which is her best work in my opinion.

  • Even for you, it would be unbearable if they (Amos and Rice) didn't reinvent themselves. And take a little look from their side too. An artist feels useless when he/she is incacable of changing. Why do you think Arthur Conan Doyle killed Sherlock Holms? He couldn't stand him anymore. So there is no better or worse in Tori's work. It's just different from the earlier years and, while judging it, I think we should take into account her personal evolution and evolution in music in general.

  • I'm with ya Boy

  • I agree. Tori is one of the rawest and genuine artists. I love that she is always evolving. Doll Posse may be my fav cd by her because she shares her own secret feelings thru various aspects of her personality. Each one is relateable. All women have so many layers to their being. Tori knows how to take those parts of herself and use them to deliver one of the greatest cd's ever. :)

  • Sorry but Tori is a relationship and therefore abides by the rules of all relationships. Some are for a day, some for a month, some for a year and some for life. Each has its place in any persons experience and should be appreciated for what it is or was. Personally I'm with her for life but if your time has come to part then say thank you for your time together and move on. There's a lot of music left...

  • ??? I think you might be a tad bit obsessed. I enjoy her old work, just not digging her new work.

  • Asking people if they want fries with their burgers is not setting trends!

  • She has been in the biz for 20 years and worked hard to get where she is and she doesn't deserve the disrespect of two women who take what it not theirs. It is really quite simple.

  • what did tori said? i didn't hear it because of the screaming of the fans.

  • "Get the fuck out of my show! Its a privilege to sit in the front row and I reserve those seats for people who appreciate music, get the fuck out"

  • low how embarrassing for those two xD

  • I definitely think Tori did the right thing. People are so damn obsessed with being on their damn cell phones every second of the the day. People today have this weird idea that the world revolves around them, and to them I say: Mr Rogers lied: YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL!

    Thanks Tori, you rock!

  • HAHAHAHA!!!! Loved that last part!

  • Robertschrader, not sure what you're basing that on. Personally I love Tori and her music, however I'm not a parasite, a sociopath, nor am I apathetic to vegatables (being a vegetarian.) You can't really make an argument by stereotyping.

  • However, I will say, there are Tori fans who are a little scary in their obsession, but that doesn't mean the other people who might have occupied those seats (if it weren't for the two girls) are like that.

  • Teenager wannabe...

    they are

  • She gets shitty with rude fans a lot. In 1998 (lady in the white shirt) and 2005. She would shoosh the audience in 1996, but they weren't so disrespectful to need to get kicked out.

    By the way, its RAINN.

And if they need something, it would be theater manners.

So many people were disrespectful this tour. It was time she put her foot down!

  • people were REALLY rude on this tour. I was shocked! From what I understood of this situation was that she had given the first two rows to friends and family and those bitches stole the seats when they got up to use the restroom. I'd kick them out too!

  • she did it coz she hand picks fans to sit in front row and they kinda ruined a chance for others...if they were gona talk they could have sat in regular seats and let another fan who WOULDNT have talked in front row

  • AMEN!!!! I would KILL to have seats like that! I was 15 rows back! Prettty clost but still, second row?! I would bow down and kiss feet!

  • 1.

It's a privledge to sit in the front row seats in any concert, even if it's just a school play.

    2.

It almost brings me to tears when someone calls Tori's music MUZAK, what heartless, mindless people are being massproduced now-a-days... Listen to ANY of Tori's songs, even her covers aren't MUZAK, 1000 Oceans, Me and a Gun, Icicle, Silent all these years... uhg. All her music is far from MUZAK, even though I don't like most of her Y Kant Tori Read album, it's still far from MUZAK.

    :\

  • mi idolo desde los 13 años,ahora tengo casi 20 más y no hay nadie que se te pueda comparar

  • I love how Matt is scratching his head as T bitches those girls out.

    I love you Tori.

  • hum hello... tori's father is a pastor lol...

Tori amos is awsome... too bad for those who cant understand her music and her art...

  • I love it! "Get the fuck out of my show!"

  • "how's your Jesus Christ been hanging?" It's not mockery, at least in my view. Rather a questioning. Why all the talk of suffering. Why should we use Jesus' suffering as our spiritual paradigm? why not the beauty of his teachings? why not the affirmation, compassion, sacred union? Tori helps us remember the ways Religion, Jesus' teachings have been used to control us.

  • jubub if you have this big problem with tori amos, why are you even bothering to watch these videos?

  • I think the operative word there is "your" ... if you work from Tori's worldview, you know that each religious leader is understood as relative in each person's mind, much like God him(her?it?)self. I don't think these lyrics are in bad taste, though they are certainly provocative. She is certainly anything other than Christian (as far as orthodoxy is concerned), and is pretty anti-organized-religion in general. If that makes her too of much a blasphemer for you ... why comment? Just to condemn?

  • Yeah, I'm pretty sure she didn't do that for no reason. The girls were probably being disrespectful.

  • Thanks:) I was wondering what she said and what happened.

  • Thanks went to cletus5nove :P

  • AS her father put it (who is a minister by the way) her lyrics aren't to mock, they are to make you think.

  • Tori Amos is incredibly biblically literate, she takes charge of her religion.

  • I have never seen a child at a Tori Amos concert...

  • Well considering some of her songs deal with rape and miscarriage I can't say I'm shocked.

  • Me either.

  • Fuck off.

  • i love tori amos :)

  • OMG!!! I was thinking about doing that at her concert thank God I didn't that would have sucked. BURNNNN. lol

  • Never. She's quite alive.

  • I read the comments from the girls and from Tori's record company. The girls said they were complimenting tori, and tori said that they where on their cell phones all night.

It really doesn't matter, I think an artist has every right to kick out someone who is seriously vibing a show.

  • sorry I cannot understand what she's saying here...the right words I mean...

  • It sure is a prive....

  • Hell yea I love herr. :]]]

  • Tori Amos kicks so much ass. :]

  • The way I understand it, the girls weren't originally in the front row, they snuck up there and sat in seats when two people left the theatre for a moment. Kind of harsh, yes, but Tori is very protective of her fans.

  • If I was every lucky enough to sit in the front row at a Tori concert, I'd be damned if I could do anything other than stare at her in adoration and sing to myself. Who cares what was wrong, it's rude to talk on a cell phone, or keep getting up, or whatever those chicks were doing. Even if I was in the back row, I'd be watching. They are obviously not true Tori Amos fans and deserved to get kicked out.

  • I bet those audience members were also the kind of people who talk during movies, and don't turn off their cells and eat their snacks as loudly as they can while getting up 10 times to go to the bathroom. fuck em

  • tori worked damned hard to get where she is, and it is HER show at the end of the day, if you don't want to enjoy the show and talk on your cell why the hell are you there? it is an artist's right to stop the show at any time. it's her work. if it were me i would have done the same, never mind it being a privilege to sit in the front row, it's a privilege to be there!

  • I was at the show... it was a brilliant moment and when she started again she had a harder edge that IMHO made the song that much better.

    Tori KICKS ASS!!!!
