Mark's mom and dad were invited to our church by my dad whos also the pastor for a ladie's retreat the same weekend I received Christ!! They even came and ate at our house!! We made them feel welcome by putting on one of Mark's albums.

I attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and i remember the first Sunday I went to Thomas Road Baptist Church...she sang a special. Then at the end of the year, me and my roommate went out to eat and we saw her at the restaurant and i asked: "Do you go to Thomas Road?" she nods, then i asked :"are you mrs. lowry?" she nods, and then I asked, "as in Mark Lowry's mom?" She nodded again and me and my roommate were freaking out, we couldn't believe it! She was great!
