Hello! Just wanted to know if the Megadrum supports playing head, rimoshots and cross sticking on the snare at the same time like Roland and Yamaha modules. Thanks!
How did you setup your snare? It's a week i'm tweaking with Megadrum, but i have not the same results as with Roland converters!! Same DIY snare like your, working perfectly even with SPDS trigger in...(!)
hey mate I just wanted to know how you set up the hi hat sounds in additive drums with megadrum, I cant seem to set mine up so it triggers the sounds when it is half open, the midi note mapping is quite confusing
@dk01945 Im sorry mate. But I really dont remember. I only used Addictive Drums that once. I really favor Superior Drummer over any other VSTI. Hope you solve your probs.
Hey man) u have realy good sound. Could u write me pls names of parts of ur drum set. Snare, cymbols and etc. I realy want to make somthing like this)))
@AlexLPN07 Well. Describing the set in detail here is really not possible. But you should go through the forums on megadrum.info and vdrums.com. There you can find inspiration for building your own kit.
Who manufactured your drumset and where can I buy it? Did you build the megadrum module yourself or where did you purchase it? The sensibility of your kit is second to none! Congratulations!!!!
So how does the pipeline look-the edrums in to the midi module into a laptop then into a pa or whatever? You call the drums sounds up on the laptop from the Addictive Drums software? What about latency? How fast will a new kit preset load in? I want to try this for live gigs, but I'm afraid I'll be waiting for the new kit to load.
I have a Roland TD-6. Can I do this same thing with that module?
@swingrays Well first of all I would definetely go for Superior Drummer instead of Addictive drums. I find it far more superior :) LOL.
You can use your Roland module just fine, but be aware that most Roland modules have a very low number of inputs compared to megadrum, witch limits your kit size a lot. You need a high end laptop to run with no latency. And a high end soundcard is a must if you plan on hooking up to a PA playing live.
@swingrays The time it takes to load a new kit really depends on the size of the kit and the quality of the library. I would say that on a high end laptop it usually takes 10 - 30 sec.

@poxcr I Have build the kit myself, so you really cant by it anywhere. Except for the cymbals witch is Yamaha PCY's.
