The longer these newer, cleaner more efficent plants are postponed by you geniuses the longer that the coal plants built in the 50's will remain open. And believe me they will remain open because it will take quite a few years to create enough base load energy from green energy to cover even half of what coal is able to produce. So in conclusion you are inadvertently hurting the enviornment rather than helping..thanks for nothing.
and in those few years to creat enough base load energy from green energy, thousands of jobs WILL be created. You choice, just a few temporary jobs building it, and a few jobs running the dirty coal pant, while the coal plant eliminates thousands of jobs in the clean energy economy where MI can do what it did last century, Manufacture the Future.

Keeping Coal from entering MI will keep pollution out. I agree, it will take a few years for green energy so lets get started!
