Haa, I didnt know Mike Rowe did this. I first heard of this guy on Dirty Jobs then I heard he did something on QVC. and I still have one of the older style Primestar remotes but I modded it into a flashing light.

I remember in 1997 there was a Godzilla Marathon on called "Oh my Godzilla" this commercial would come on every break. I miss Primestar!! now mike rowe is doing a show called dirty jobs.

The only thing I didn't care for about Primestar was that the video quality. I don't know if it was the compression or what but it was soft-focused compared to other satellite and cable feeds at the time.

I liked primestar, I actually had primestar back in 95. the dish was huge outside, but not like the dinosaurs of the 80's. lol. too bad they gave in to Directv.
