i used to live across the street from him when he lived in Dallas my family and his family were close when i was three, i used to call him quebert!! lol
Someone needs to post the year when everyone was just burning up the net. It was either '95 or '96. Can anyone help me out with the memory thing, haha!
A little bit after the "3 Js" era. He was picvked up when Don Nelson just took over as coach. It's understandable seeing as how Nellie loves the good shooters.
Did he set some kind of record or something? I wonder what happened to his career, he seemed to be on his way to an All-star berth, but then he just dissapeared from the NBA..
Hubert Davis used to be my favorite player back in the day when he was on the Knicks. One of purest shooters man

he doesnt get very much rotation on his jumpshot, but he releases it in a way that it falls right in the hoop. i like unique shots like that.

did he win?
Sinadal41 3 years ago
he struggled in the final round with fatigue and was beat by Jeff Hornacek who scored 18 or somethin
kdancy 3 years ago
thanks
Sinadal41 3 years ago
Yeah, he peaked too early. Hornacek won in the next contest(2000) as well, edging out another Maverick: one Dirk Nowitzki.

can you put up the whole contest if you have it or at least the final round?

Reggie miller looks like crap

I remember this. He was my pick to win. He ran out of gas in the finals and only put up 10. Hornacek won.

hey this guy's got good shooting mechanics!
usernamefuckoff 4 years ago
His actual mechanics are a bit unorthodox, in my opinion, but it's no matter because he just poured in 24, haha!

That is very impressive

Seems like the Harold Minor of the 3-point contest. Never even heard of this guy. Must be the J Kidd/Action Jim Jackson era Mavs.

No, the record is 25 by Craig Hodges in 1986 and the most in a row is 19 by Hodges in 1991
