  • The music reminds me of toe jam and earl....lol

  • The music is kind to me.

  • can a LaRue LT755-03s with aimpoint 3x magnifier + LaRue LT751 with aimpoint micro T1 co witness with BUIS

  • no buttons fail to much.

  • Thanks for actually showing us the POV. Definitely going aimpoint 3x mag and m4s. Just not sure if I want to go with the new samson flip mount.

  • hi if you only have one rifle, what optics set-up do you prefer? aimpoint with magnifier or acog with micro offset? ><

  • this clip is the best presentation. i was just tired of others which are only showing the magnifier flipping.

  • I wanna ask you one thing - why do you preferred exactly the T-1 Micro? Why not Comp M3 or M4? How I can see, this sight became one of the most popular among the tactical shooters. Can you explain?

  • @Vectar84

it is smaller.. less stuff in the way of seeing down range

  • @GunWebsites 4 moa dot don't making a problems? Maybe EOtech will be more reasonable in that case?

  • @Vectar84 I say its because it has an 80k hour battery life and weighs about as much as the eotech's batteries. I own an eotech and love it but my next sight will be an aimpoint R-1 for the new ruger 22/45

  • isnt there a spring loaded version of this sight?? like u just press a button and it moves to the side position??

  • @QRNPTBUZ

    no

  • @QRNPTBUZ Yes there is a spring loaded one but it wasn't out when the video was made.

  • @QRNPTBUZ

actually I believe there is a mount that does do that, there is one featured on one of the magpul dvds and I've seen one in real life (not sure if it was technically spring loaded) but the guy hit a lever and the thing snapped to the side. But just like magpul said the mount would snap back into position (sometimes) if you made sharp movements

  • @THarrisson This is one of my primary concerns. I'm trying to find the right 3x magnifier with a flip to side feature.can you link me to that article or video talking about EOTech's G23 snapping back into place at times?

  • @QRNPTBUZ here found one

search on youtube for Quick Flip Aimpoint 3x from user samson manufacturing (one word i think) theres a vid of a guy who pushes a button and boom it flings over

so umm yes there is one

  • @QRNPTBUZ try copy/paste "Side flip QD 3x Magnifier for Aimpoint, Eotech, and other holographic red dot system" in Amazon

  • Yes. Samson make a mount that will do that.

  • @QRNPTBUZ Yes, one or two. Among them is the EOTech G23 FTS.

  • @QRNPTBUZ yes, there is, but its not for military use, its a re-make for the use of airsoft weapons

  • Doest the aim point3x work on lets say an eotech 512

  • What range was that, 200 or 300yrds? If money was not an option is it really worth it? In reviews It has an effective range of 425yrds can it be pushed out to 500yrds?

  • @texture6

this range is 200 yards.. but the magnifier is 3x.. hardly a 500 yard optic IMO

  • @texture6

but there are people that use irons out to 800 yards effectivly in combat conditions, so im sure you could get it to shoot at 500 if you, your ammo, and your gun can.

  • Would you recommend an aimpoint and a magnifier over a 4x acog? About the same price...

  • @Maloner78

yes, mistly because of the eye relief .. ACOGs require your eye to be pretty close, the Aimpoints are more adaptable

  • @Maloner78

yes, mostly because of the eye relief .. ACOGs require your eye to be pretty close, the Aimpoints are more adaptable

  • @Maloner78 650.00+ dollars for a 3x aimpoint magnifier plus mount is very pricey Sure they are very durable but magnification is not very much. I would look into the Mako 7X with detachable mount it is selling for 170.00 on ebay with free shipping and it is brand new. The Ocular has 1.65 inches eye relief. It is water proof, shock proof, and fog proof. Mako offers lifetime warranty on their products and are designed for Eotech and aimpoint red dots. This is NOT a TOY. Check it out.

  • @TheCashistrash

you get what you pay for

  • @GunWebsites I got an Aimpoint red dot mostly because It has circuits in it and wanted something whose circuits were not gonna get fried or water to get in it. Fixed Magnifiers dont break so easy is just polished glass.Aimpoint 3X is probably the best magnifier in the marget because it was designed for combat. Most people are recreational shooters and don't need that kind of durability, for 100.00 you can get a MAKO 3X with lifetime WARRANTY. Good for hunting but I wouldn't take it to a war.

  • pretty cool

Can you still use the pop up rear site with this aimpoint/3 mag configuration?

    Just curious.

    Keep up the good work.

    :)

  • @SafeArmsReview

With the magnifier flipped to the side, it will work, but the magnifier is in the way when it's in place.

I don't think the irons would work through the magnifier even if it was placed more forward though

  • Is it a GOOD thing if the dot get's bigger?

  • @TDoginNC You do not want your dot toooo big remember at longer distances your target gets smaller and with magnification the dog gets bigger and a big dot will cover your entire target giving you poor accuracy. The benefit tho is aimpoint red dot has 9 settings and that is including the off mode.

  • how will this thing work with the new 34mm tube? (H34S/L) ???

If the the magnifier makes the red dot much bigger, whats the point in getting one??

I hunt Moose in Scandinavia with a 9.3 semiauto. I have ordered the new H34S. To be able to hunt every year, i have to hit a 30mm target at 100 meters, 5 shots.

How will the aimpoint without a magnifyer do???

Anyone have experience with aimpoint at a 100m ???

  • 30 cm, not 30mm :- )

  • You said the dot gets bigger, does it get noticeably bigger when aiming at a 100 or 200 yard target?

  • @acr1980

    yes much bigger

  • @GunWebsites Do you know if its still usable with NVGs?

  • @babaveonglu

    yup, it is

  • @GunWebsites great thx

  • @acr1980 well the dot gets 3x bigger since your using a 3x magnifier on the red dot. if you shooting target lets say the size of a zombie you should be able to hit it at about 500 meters with this set up. Anything further than that you need a real scope.

  • Question, does the red "dot" get any bigger when using the x3 scope?

  • @NeoXus299

    It does get larger

  • @GunWebsites

You MUST tell me the music you used for this video. :D

  • Eotech FTW

  • They look the business , new system as opposed to other switch zoom multi role combat sights.Never used one though so who knows how effective they are.Saw the British Army were testing a 2 sight arrangement recently.

  • Hey, how much peripheral vision do you sacrifice for the mount in the outward position ?

  • not much, it's not really in your way when your face is right there

  • I wish it was a flip to side mount like eotechs.

  • we'll do a review of both some time and maybe you'll see why we prefer this system

  • nice music)))

  • too bad that micro has a 4moa dot.. covers the entire target w/3x at 100yds.. they should come out with a 2moa micro.. for now compm4 w/3x works great

  • I would like to see the flip action without being eased down. Stop babying it and let it go like it was designed to

  • Obvious troll, is obvious.

  • EOtechs are about the same price probably even cheaper... aimpoints ($400-$720 sights) are for poor people, HAHAHAHAHHAHA!

  • You have no idea what your talking about.

  • would you prefer this, or a straighout scope

  • On an AR, this

On a bolt rifle, a 'normal' scope

  • @GunWebsites

im thinking of using it on a m14, airsoft mind you, but its the same concept, does your opinion still stand?

  • I think in real life I'd use a scope on a M14 since it lends it's elf to 'reach' over 'close in'

  • I run the 3x/LarueQD & CompM4s/LarueQD on my SOCOM II (the real deal) and it's perfect for my purposes. I wouldn't think the 3x would be all that useful for AS as you'll be looking out past what you can shoot accurately. Target acquisition on near targets would seem slower with increased mag also. Dunno never really got into the AS thing though so I'm no expert. Also a bit expensive. Though hell if you have a real rifle to use it with or all ready have one...why not!

  • @toastertomattoe Well this magnifier was designed to be used with red dots or nighvision scopes. red dots are much quicker for target aquisition than standard scopes. Aimpoint red dot plus magnifier is for semi sniping at 300 meters range. I use a red dot no magnifier and can shoot milk gallons at 100 meters using no bipod. Good sights are more important than magnifiers my opinion. You can find cheap magnifiers 50 bucks ebay vs aimpoint magnifier about 600.00

  • nice build.....a can opener and roll of toilet paper and this weps complete

  • really?

a red-dot, a magnifier, light and a forward grip are all useless "toys" to you?

  • heck no dude let me modify then aimpoint, toilet paper, 3xmag(maybe),light,grip and can opener (undecided wich 1st on that one)...plus a hanger to dry my socks=the utimate infantry mans wep.................(maybe on the 3x cause might just chuck it all and go with acog)

  • I don't even understand that reply ..

But, if you think a 3x magnified optic is better than non-magnified, we won't agree

  • I just recently put an Aimpoint Compm4s on my LWRC M6A3. LaRue is the way to go, when it comes to mounts. They cost a bit more, but they're worth every last penny. My next "plunge" will be on the 3x magnifier; you can bet that it'll be on a LaRue mount too.

  • sounds like a nice rifle

  • i just bought a lwrc m6a2 and a comp m4 with the magnifier. waiting for it to be delivered still. how do you like your lwrc and aimpoint?

  • You made a wise choice; you won't be disappointed. That aimpoint is expensive, but it's worth every last penny. Did you get a LaRue mount for your magnifier and m4? If not, I highly recommend looking into them. LaRue's mounts are top notch. Enjoy your rifle!

  • yea i got the larue mount. i actually ordered the compm4 and magnifier from the larue website with the mounts. so whats your opinion of your lwrc are they as good as the internet rumors say??

  • I've had no problems with mine. I've had no jams of any kind, no stovepipes, no failures to feed, and no double feeding. I have absolutely no complaint of any kind. I'm sure other companies offer quality products (the new Ruger seems to be doing well) but LWRC has left nothing to be desired.

You're going to be very happy with your purchase, when you finally get your rifle. You made a good choice :]

  • I have an LWRC M6A2 and luv it. w/a CompM4 and am looking @ 3X magnifier. What LaRue mount do you recommend for the mag. and why? Pivot or twist? and if pivot is short okay and does it get out of the way as much as the tall?

  • Not to dodge your question, but I highly recommend calling/emailing the fine people @ LaRue. They can answer your questions better than anyone else, and they will gladly help you decide on what mount would be best for you. They're extremely helpful/friendly.

I have nothing but good things to say about that company and their staff. You will be able to tell that they value your business!

  • @essemgy I got an Aimpoint red dot and love mine to death. Very quick target aquisition can shoot gallon jugs even at 100 meters but i am not using any magnifier or bipod. Personally I think sights are much more important than magnifiers. 600 dollars for a 3x magnifier seems a little steep but 650 for the aimpoint red dot was worth it in my opinion the sights sure damn accurate and easy to place.

  • ah really, so do you think it is worth getting it then?

  • 100% yes.. if I had the funds (and an AR to put it on) I would own one myself ..

  • I couldn't believe how heavy the 3X magnifier was. Plus the darn thing is more then an aimpoint(at least the older models)

  • good thing you aren't required to buy one then..

.. and no one said these were in-expensive

  • I did buy a acog TA-33-R with LaRue mount which was $925 so money is not a problem.

  • LaRue and aimpoint = awesome

  • with that 3xmag on is it hard to shoot out of a red dot? it looked like it was a little wobbly but that was prolly just you moving the cam around.

  • the movement is the camera, but what happens is the dot gets magnified too, so it is a bit more difficult to shoot w/ 3x magnification

  • I thought the dot stayed at 2 moa even with the 3x magnification?

  • perhaps if we turned the 'brightness' down a bit it would have been smaller ... I'll have to check on that

  • does the magnifier block peripheral view on the right side when it is folded down?

  • not in my opinion.. and if it did block something, it's soo easy to move it out of the way with a slight movement of the rifle

  • Could use a little more T&A, but not a bad video.

  • LOL, ok we'll work on that

  • After all the money you spend for the Aimpoint red dot sight, the magnifier, and the mounts wouldn't it be better to just buy an ACOG for a little more?

Have you ever tried out the Larue magnifier that comes with the pivot mount? I would love to know if that magnifier is just as good as the expensive Aimpoint.

  • An ACOG is a very durable optic, however it's eye relief is very short and narrow. Meaning the shooter needs to keep their eye in a relatively small area close to the optic for it to be in focus.

The Aimpoint is much more forgiving meaning the shooters eye can be much further back and even off to a side and the optic still works.

In addition to that, the non magnified Aimpoint is much more versatile for shooting moving objects (eyes don't need to focus through magnified lenses)

  • Do you mean the Po-Boy special ?

Thats is a quality optic (lens) from what I've heard, but I doubt it is as durable as an Aimpoint

  • This setup will work with an EOTech as well, correct?

  • Yup, these work fine with an EOtech

  • good review, can you please do one on the Aimpoint CEU

  • We'll see what we can do !!

    Thanks for the request

  • loves ur scope!

  • Yikes!! a lot.. but it's not mine so I could only guess from the retail prices

  • Looks like LWRC.....wat kinda gun?

  • This is an LWRC 10.5 inch gas piston upper

  • Damn that is a beautiful gun you got there

  • thanks, it has been a good set up so far

  • too bad your using that with a micro 4moa dot. that dot wil fill the target with the magnifier

  • you dont have the dot turned on.

you should make a video like that so we can see what the dot looks like.

  • it is turned on, but the video quality is too poor to see it
