The govt definitely felt there would be panic in the 40s and 50s but this is 60 YEARS LATER. EVERYone knows they're real. I don't think there would be mass panic. It just would prove we're not the top dogs in our section of the universe. We aren't the ones with the highest technology or power over time and space and the govts of the world are AFRAID of anyone else with more power than them.

it is not rediculous to be skeptical about this. In fact even the most intelligent minds in our society do not believe in this, or really anything. Belief is a self assuring bias. Scientists work to check their beliefs and test material information and theories. They work to prove things... and unfortunately speculation or commentary from anyone about seeing something does not trump real science. Until we have scientific proof of any sort of UFO's people will continue to be skeptical.

actually you have to explain away why people would be lying or delusional; all of them, and all the sitings, like STS-80 Shuttle Footage; for if any of it is true, then the whole phenomena is true; and scientists are pretty dumb

@welcomegohome Just because someone works in a specific profession, or has a position in society doesn’t make their testimony infallible. They’re still human. Look at you for example, typing bollocks online. There is a big difference between what someone states they saw, and what it actually is.

The implant is very interesting, but unfortunately finding it in a guys face doesn't certify that aliens put it there. While I would love this to be true, I can't let it cloud my judgement. Please, scepticism has great credibility.

skepticism does have it's place but not in UFO phenomena. Eye-witness testimony is enough to condemn a man to death but is ridiculed when it concerns subject of UFOs. see "the Disclosure Project", or "I know what I saw UFO documentary" here on YouTube. As for tangible evidence, see "Bob White object", "Starchild skull DNA results 2010", UFO Congress 2010 Metepec alien DNA results, some of all this may be BS, but is it all just fantasy? Any sane rational person......I don't think so.

@lozleigh While I understand what your saying, first hand evidence from trained professional whose expertise is in flying would logically be better than a hillbilly in the woods. and is used in science as objective observation. It is also used in courts to condemn. Yes many people witnessing the same thing may have multiple recolections, but intelligent analysis would take into account the persons position, age, status etc. The OTHER end is where the science is.

@lozleigh true, but who they are and what they represent gives them more credibility then the average joe... and if you are interested in the implants then its best that you know that all these victims have claimed they had nightmares and believed they were abducted before Dr. Lier found the implants... and also you should check out the studies done on the implants.. lets see where your skepticism has to say after learning more about it.

It is healthy to be skeptical, but one should always weigh-up the facts for and against in order to make an informed decision. I will, therefore, let everything in front of me cloud my judgement. I will be skeptical and vote not guilty. Witness accounts, so you say, are not credible. @lozleigh but eye witness accounts ARE good enough to put ppl in prison forever or even death penalty! yes science does need hard facts, BUT the first hand eye witness testimony of all these very credible ppl should be MORE than enough for the ppl of earth to conduct a massive worldwide investigation into all this. Get all the countries in UN,NATO to vote on whether we want an investigation, then any1 or any group refusing to help should be relieved of their duties, prisoned/court-martialed etc

I saw my first UFO the other night make a quick left turn from a straight line it was moving in, and then go up and out of site slowly.. I believe if anyone gives "a night to looking up" and watching the satellites go around the planet, will soon see a UFO.
