Thanks so much! It's interesting to compare this to the 1944 movie. But shouldn't this one (1940) be called "Gaslight" or "Angel Street"? The square here is Pimlico, not Thornton. " I think the 1944 Gaslight was released in England as "The Murder in Thornton Square". But anyway, what's in a name?
