Does anyone else wonder what is going on with this case? It seems clear, and there are rumors at the courthouse, that the detective is guilty of covering up for Bey. True, he does not admit ordering the killing, but he tells us how Bailey's head was blown up - how would he have known that? How did he get to the site so soon afterwards? But, only one man is charged. Does it make any sense at all? Some bad politics here, not sure exactly what.
