How do you train a dog to stop eating grass in the back yard. One of my dogs will come immediately in the house, but when he is in my back yard, he will eat the grass, and not pay any attention to me when I call him. I've tried taking him out in the yard with a long leash to potty, but he won't potty when he is on the leash, so I have to let him go free, and then I try to call him back, and he is too busy eating the grass.
@rsamberg a dog will eat grass when it is not felling well dont get to in to this untill the dog will eat so much it will puke up grass climps then go to the vet and the vet will know what to do

My favourite hobby is spending time with my dogs, grooming, training and just playing. My first attempt at clipping a poodle was amusing. Don't worry, the dog was unharmed, lol. As a child, I do remember "shutting down" when a teacher became frustrated with me during lessons. The only thing I learned was a resentment for lessons!
I have a 1 year old border collie, and he was really easy to train coz all he wanted to do was please me, but I also have a 9 month old australian kelpie and she has an attention span of litterally 5 seconds. I've tried to teach her, but she's not interested and will run off in the middle of a 1 minute training session. I need to train her before she's too old. Any advice???

I sucked at badminton at first, couldn't do it at all, was frustrated, hated it, it was just another sport in gym which I also hate xD But my gym teacher (who ended up being my favorite teacher) worked with me everyday on my badmintion skills, and it's one of my favorite sports now ;)

Umm I go on facebook a lot!!! :P And I started to like facebook and go on facebook a lot because I saw my mom going on facebook and I wanted to be like her. Now that I have my own account, I really like it because now I know what it's like. I have a dog and he knows a couple tricks like sit and high-five and stuff. I am getting a new dog soon so I should do like I did and let my new dog watch my dog do his tricks and show my new dog how fun it can be?

Faking your enthusiasm. Never heard anybody bring that one up before. You're right on the money with that.. Dog's don't respond to it, but children hate it and will immediately cut off all focus. I suppose the same happens with Dogs, they just don't have the vocal chords necessary to ask humans to stop being fake.. Good shit Zak

How do you train a dog to stop eating grass in the back yard. One of my dogs will come immediately in the house, but when he is in my back yard, he will eat the grass, and not pay any attention to me when I call him. I've tried taking him out in the yard with a long leash to potty, but he won't potty when he is on the leash, so I have to let him go free, and then I try to call him back, and he is too busy eating the grass.

@rsamberg a dog will eat grass when it is not felling well dont get to in to this untill the dog will eat so much it will puke up grass climps then go to the vet and the vet will know what to do

I have several hobbies, the spark is seeing someone else's work and my desire to do the same. I try to replicate it, then change it to my style. Then when I complete it that satisfication of a finished project. I want more... tada new hobby.

My favourite hobby is spending time with my dogs, grooming, training and just playing. My first attempt at clipping a poodle was amusing. Don't worry, the dog was unharmed, lol. As a child, I do remember "shutting down" when a teacher became frustrated with me during lessons. The only thing I learned was a resentment for lessons!

I have a 1 year old border collie, and he was really easy to train coz all he wanted to do was please me, but I also have a 9 month old australian kelpie and she has an attention span of litterally 5 seconds. I've tried to teach her, but she's not interested and will run off in the middle of a 1 minute training session. I need to train her before she's too old. Any advice???

As of last month my hobbie is training my new pup. It actually came very natural to me. I was very impressed when I realized my pup learned tricks in a day, I was also impressed with how natural training was for me!

how do you get your dog to listen to you when theres other people around? cause my dog listens to me but only when we're alone. but when theres other people, she'll only pay attention to the other person and forget everything i taught her while the other people are there.

I sucked at badminton at first, couldn't do it at all, was frustrated, hated it, it was just another sport in gym which I also hate xD But my gym teacher (who ended up being my favorite teacher) worked with me everyday on my badmintion skills, and it's one of my favorite sports now ;)

border coli are dogs with IQ of very inteligent person... they like to master what ever they do... they fill proud... however bad treated coli can the same become very bad dogs, like human criminals...
if you like to your dog like somethink, you must to like it...
if you love so somethink, and you do it with your dog, the dog will love it with you...
indeed very important... dogs can "feel" you attitude and emotion.... they do not TALK... dogs comunication is created by "feel" factor...
