what is your POI shift with the can on, from your unsuppressed zero? Or do you strictly shoot that setup suppressed and have your base zero with the can on? I get almost 6 inches of POI with my YHM 7.62 QD on a rem 700 308 26 inch barrel...thanks
@ASCBLUEYE if I remember correctly, I have about 1.5" shift, but I NEVER shoot without the can. Unless I win a hunt in a different state, I'll probably never shoot without a can till the day I die.
@MavHunter20XX No, I'm using an HTC Eris running Shooter Ballistic on Android. Easily the most accurate, effective and inexpensive ballistic app available for a smart phone.
@theonlyrealcbass16 Still, you're using a smartphone for ballistics, that's pretty awesome. I'm not yet at the point where I feel the need for a ballistics computer, but someday....
@kenfortmac34 nothing subsonic comes out of my rifles. Not yet anyway. I'm considering a .300 Blackout but I'm not sold yet. The sonic crack is taking place outside the house...the frame of the window is actually acting like another sound barrier or baffle. All the sonic crack noise is happening down range.
great video you guys! what an awesome place to shoot. Beautiful rifle and excellent shooting. What ballistic calculator are you using, if you dont mind me asking?
@osulxa Thanks for the comments, there will be plenty more to come as my shooting and videography skills improve. In that video I'm using "Shooter Ballistic" for the Droid OS. I'm running it on an HTC Eris right now.
We also use the Trimble Nomad when it gets WAY out there. Check out some of the videos at O'Neill Ops's channel. He's in my friends list.
@muskiekiller1301 be sure to check out my other videos then. It's featured in just about all of them. I'll be doing a review of the whole thing shortly, as soon as I have some better weather cause I've gotten a LOT of questions about it over the years.
@mxf7010g8k I LOVE it for a place to shoot. I hate going to a range where everything is set up to perfect conditions. Since we plan to call in that location, I love to practice there.
haha. the shells are hitting the ground at just about the exact time the bullet is impacting the steel.
