You trying to kill someone with your speeding machine? Must be a libertarian - no concern of how your actions affect anyone else, but you. We are interdependent.
@m3xlc4n Hehehe, totally weird! I used to live right by a corvette dealer when I was a wee one, him and my dad were good friends, and he would let me sit in all the vettes, it was so cool! For now tho I have settled with my 90 5.0 stang, it needs work, but runs good and has totally grown on me. Maybe I will put a video of it up one day. :P Take care! :)
@dreamblue116 I had an 86 gt when I was 17 or 18, good engines those. In fact I've had 3 Mustangs. Nothing wrong with them at all, however, I wish all these young punks who drive them now would understand what a Z06 is and stop trying to race me all the time. I'm busy hunting Lamborghinis.
@m3xlc4n Yeah they are good little cars, everyone always wants to buy mine. Hahahahahahahaha! Yeeea...Mustang against Z06, not an equal match, maaaybe a Saleen or Roush has a chance. I haven't seen a Lambo in a long time, used to see them on the freeway every now and then when I worked in OC. Kinda like seeing a Viper, rare animals, (least out here) lol. Have a good one! :)
I know you said everything you had to say about politics and the economy (man, you were right on the spot!), but what is your view at this moment? You know, economy collapse in Greece, Ireland, then Spain and Portugal.
@Agnostic72 Thanks for paying attention! My views are very complicated and have greatly matured. So in short, I can't condense them in a comment! I will say that the US economy is not coming back. The white collar democratic corporate hyper-capitalist model was never going to work, and the evidence is nigh. All European stagnation/collapse is a product of it.
I understand. Would you consider making a video (or a series of videos) displaying your views. For instance, forgetting about democrats and republicans (is there really a difference between them nowadays?), would you say that the transition to Fascism has been completed? Do you think the people in general will wake up and revolt? How long before the economy goes back to barter? What about the latest TSA happenings? It would be interesting to hear you again touching on these subjects...
@Agnostic72 I think quite the opposite about fascism. I never really felt that fascism was the right definition for modern America. I butted heads with Russo in real life about this. Corporatism has a natural progression that tends toward autonomous function, which is what Marx said would happen to capitalism. Fascism is the opposite, it is leadership that guides a corporate state for the perceived benefit of the bureaucracy. One would have to subscribe to a shadow government theory for that.
@Agnostic72 If there were such a shadowy group running things, they have made massive mistakes which have now rendered hopeless their dream for a fascist paradise. In fact, anti-trust laws would be their friend, but in this hyper-capitalist state, lobby organisations have more power than the minority of congress - meaning that effective control by any one group or even any single branch of government is impossible with corporate power such as it is.
@Agnostic72 At the same time, corporate gluttony and the American attitude toward labor has made outsourcing a way of life that ironically makes impotent the corporate machine in any meaningful sense. In other words, what would people revolt against? Corporations will still function as apathy drives consumerism, and it is blatant just how useless the government really is. Obama is a shining example of government failure. If the prez really could change things, what's there to change?
@Agnostic72 Really the only way to go is rolling back 100 years of legislation, and the government subsidizing of the return of manufaturing to the continent, but who wants to work in a factory? Americans are just that lazy and spoiled. What I am saying is, there is literally nothing to be done. The people who are motivated are so small in number and full of misguided fanaticism, I'd be terrified of what would happen should their numbers grow! (looking at you, Ron Paul people!)
@Agnostic72 To sum it all up, it is highly unlikely I would make any videos about this. I'm always down for some good discussion one on one or even a small group, but as far as public statements, I've said all I feel is necessary. I am afraid I'd end up repeating myself too much - what I said before certainly applies now - and besides, I don't care much for the attention. I would be happy to talk with you any time though.
