i cant fucking hit the damn gun. either i am dodging a fucking bullet or a bullet is blocking the path or the bullet is being generated. real pain in the ass..... -_-
If you beat Wiley in the end, it is possible 2 kill him totally. With the right timing you can use Toad-rain and he will be destroyed in his flight, but its not very useful, cause nothing happens after that and theres no final battle

idk. I liked MM3-5, and 8 alot. 8 had unparalled music to the rest of the series imo. the fact that 9 is in retro form is very dissappointing to me, but i suppose its better than nothing.
Either there is a glitch in the aniversary game, or Capcom programming changed the vunerability of the second part of this robot. The reason I say this is I have the original NES game and the Drill bomb does not work to defeat the robot. You have to use the Mega Buster and keep rechargeing your energy with E tanks.
Most of them are in the GC version due to the fact that most of the Navi Mode remixes come from Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, and Power Fighters is in the GC version.
Oh, BTW, and when Navi Mode is turned on, the one and only difference in the GC version is the music. The graphics, animations, sound effects, gameplay, and plot in the GC version are exactly the same as the PS2 version.
Yeah, you seem to always leave out the fact that you need to play on an inferior D-Pad and the jump and fire buttons are reversed on the GC version. PS2 and XBox versions are far superior.
No, the Gamecube version is still good, even if the controls are reversed. Oh noes, THE BUTTONS ARE REVERSED!!!! IT MAKES THE GAME SO MUCH WORSE! Grow up, man. PS2 may have some games better than Gamecube, but did you forget that ONLY THE GAMECUBE VERSION GOT THE ARCADE GAMES? GC version > The others. Thank you.
OK, I'll admit you're not dumb. I just grow weary over the arguments over which system got the superior version. Controls and remixed music were a big selling point for me.
XBox is the best choice overall to be totally honest.
I will take full responsibility for taking the point too far. Personally I don't care which system had the best, I got MM:AC and MMX:C before I got my PS2, while I had a Gamecube. Either way, how do you open Navi Mode/unlock it? This is the first time I've heard of it o.O I normally just go to Game Mode and play the games.
And on a video-related note, I don't recall using the Drill weapon against him... though I still beat MM4. Hmm. Maybe I did, it's been way too long now. He wasn't that hard though. The last Wily battle in MM4 was much harder for me.
Use the Drill Bomb like you see here. The trick is to tap the "fire" button just before they hit the ship in order to detonate them. The explosion from the bomb is what damages him, not the weapon itself.
This video make the boss battle so easy.

How come the music is arranged? I've played Anniversary Collection and I don't recall that you could switch to SNES sound chip.

What the heck version is this? It sure isn't the original NES version, that's for sure.

@MrHossCartwright I'm fairly sure this is the Rockmanm Complete Works version which was only released in Japan..

Classic Mega Man was the way Mega Man was meant to be. These games were awesome.

Which is why I'm really stoked for MM9!!

I didn't know there was a MM9 planned. I just looked it up, and it sounds pretty cool. :)

Incorrect. I used Drill Bombs in the NES version also. The trick is to tap the fire button in midair BEFORE they hit the ship to detonate them.

I liked the remix music you used for the boss fight. Very nice. Did you use the original Megaman or are you using Megaman Anniversary Collection?
perfectchaoslemon 4 years ago
I've only played this on the original NES console, but I always found the second part of this boss just an absolute bitch.
Before I learned to explode the drill bits manually, I actually used the Rush Coil, paused in mid-air, and tried to time the shots. Blegh.

I've never been able to do well against that second form with the drills. I just go in with the buster.
Bean1227 4 years ago
Hey, yazarc? Could you possibly do a couple of Mega Man 3 boss fights? I never get to hear that remixed music outside of playing the games myself.
Bean1227 4 years ago
first megaman game i ever played!!!!!!!!!! XD

The remixes are awful. The Mega Man 2 boss theme has been ruined. I have the GC version and it's so much better with the original tracks.

the musics different than when i play it. do you have to unlock a second track or something? i have the gamecube version of this.

The remixed in-game music and standard controls is only in the PS2 and XBox versions.

You're an idiot. All three versions include the arcade games as unlockables.
Everybody point at warriorxero and laugh for being dumb!

Actually, another person is an idiot for telling me that only the Gamecube version had Power Fighters.

I'm surprised it worked.. I tried EVERYTHING! Even Wire.. =P But thanks! =D
phille22 5 years ago
You could use wire. You don't have to stay in front and avoid the energy balls.
garchauro 5 years ago
LOL....I know you can use the wire to damage him, but are you seriously suggesting using it?
yazarc 5 years ago
Looks like you had some trouble here. You're not alone, those huge energy balls can be tough to avoid.
