Guns change the balance of power form the criminals to the victim. Criminals are more afraid of armed citizens than police.

Sad to say this is not an uncommon feeling. It should not be of course.

I carry also but sure hope not to have to ever use it - worse than that is tho the fear and distrust of a government.

you can still get Full Autos legally. It is and NFA item but still legal when you do all the class 3 paper work.

I despise saying this, but if you want to form a militia you hafto follow the law. We will never get machine guns back, the courts and politicians will see to that. While my heart goes out to wayne and his family, I hafto state most strongly. The government is to strong, the most we can do is buy preban semi autos and train to use them.

I carry an M249 and I can honestly say I prefer a semi auto. I would never be able to afford ammo on my own for it. Accuarcy isnt outstanding and cleaning is a pain in the ass. I use dental tools.

Full autos are best used to pin an enemy down so your squad can get an angle on the threat or retreat.

I dont agree with the ban on autos, but at the same time I see a blessing. Now govt has legislated weapons that must be aimed each time one pulls the trigger, a more dangerous opponent.
